This part in red is the problem. People who cash shop seem to often think this gives them a sense of entitlement which doesnt rightfully belong to them. Now if there were multiple areas with those mobs, your case would have more validity. But there is only 1 spot with those mobs, and just because you think you own them all, does not make it so. You went there and found it empty, and figured you'd have exclusive run of the place, and most of the time that luck lasts you the 15 minutes, this time it did not. If anything the line was crossed when you went & KSed his mobs, but since the GMs have weighed in and said there is no KSing, then maybe not. But either way, what it comes down to, is mobs belong to noone, areas belong to noone.

I've been AoEing there & people have come in & started doing their killing, and then when i think "ok, so thats how it works, no biggie" and happen to go there to level my nix or yes 1 time to actually complete a QUEST (yes, quests still exist) that needed those mobs, i then get yelled at, by the same people that intruded on me. So what i've noticed is a huge amount of hypocrasy when it comes to OHT map 3. When it suits people to intrude, they say thats the way it works, cause mobs belong to noone, but then when those same ppl were there 1st, they suddenly think they have ownership. I tend to side more with the "belong to noone, at least till you've hit it" point of view.

I was gathering petalis one day last week, and a spot that is kind of a pain to gather them in, not only because there are hills, but a lot of people go there throughout the day to kill them. I was alone at the time, so I started a pull. I had about 5-6 petalis following me, and I started heading up one of the hills to grab more, and this wiz drops down in front of me, startling me, quite frankly, lol.

Immediately, I turned back down the hill, so as not to "steal" any mobs near him. However, instead of going after the mobs near him, he decided to attack my gathered mobs. Fine, I let him have them. He nearly died from the poison, and his charm ticked a few time. I thought that was rather fair.

Later, he'd seemingly left, and I was alone again, so I pulled the whole mini-map worth of mobs, which was about 15 or so. I got them all bunched up nicely, started to Tempest...and bam, the wiz comes out of nowhere, jumps into the middle of the mobs, and DB's. I cancel Tempest, knowing that he'll get aggro and be physically beaten to death by the petalis.

Charm ticked a couple of times, and he died, taking the mobs out with him. Since I was grinding for money anyway, I picked up the loot. After all, I did all that work to gather them. ^_^

He then harassed me for a res, insulting me, etc. I refused and went back to grinding, pulling the whole map and letting him watch.

Eventually, after I thought he'd waited enough, I res'd him, while he kept insulting me. After he finally res'd ("I'm just gonna lie here to spite you," he said, after I res'd him), I buffed him, and all of that seemed to mollify him, and he apologized for taking the mobs, and left.

All in all, it was pretty amusing, and I love sharing that experience.

Other times, I get people who think I'm dying and need help...those I don't mind so much, but I do wish they asked if I needed help, first. XD
