    the diminishing drop rates seems to be a common thing, it happens to me too. usually what i do is change my grinding behavior --- move to another spot, go after another monster, use a different strategy, even go do something other than grinding for a while. possibly even switch to another character. i'm unsure if it's just a weirdly-behaving random number generator (in which case what i'm doing somehow resets or re-salts the algorithm) or if it's a deliberate anti-botting measure that's turned up too sensitive (in which case i'm trying to fall out of its filter), but either way it's annoying.

    Agreed, it's rather irritating. I'm trying to get red jade for tailoring but I haven't had one drop in ages because apparently my rate has gone way down. I'll go try grinding on another type of monster for a while, see if that helps. Since I'm only level twelve it's just a bit of a pain since there isn't a ton I'm able to kill.

    Oh yeah..Is there any way to remove the chat window entirely from the screen? I literally never chat in game. The only time I've tried to use it was to ask a question and then I just get ignored so I normally freeze it but it seems mine likes to randomly unfreeze on it's own even when I haven't changed areas.

    If your level is higher than the monster and its name has turned green the drop rate will be decreased... and the deeper the green, the lower the drop rate.

    Red jade is fairly cheap from any merchant, I never grind specifically for jade.

    You can't remove the chat window, but you can make it pretty small. The second button on the bottom left can adjust the window size.

    You can also use alt+h, but this hides EVERYTHING, not just the chat window.

    Well, I have to save coins to trade for gold so I'm trying to not spend money on literally anything. I did read that the best drop rate is for monsters within two levels of my own so I make sure to stick to those.

    Is Element powder actually used for anything? I looked it up on this other site that normally lists everything a material is used for but there with nothing listed for the powder.

    I can't think of a use for Element powder off the top of my head. I always just sold it to the npc.

    Personally, I wouldn't really worry about gold just yet, it's not that useful at lower lvls, and (I think I read that you were saving) for a mount, you can't use them until lvl 20 or 40 or... something. I don't really pay that close attention.

    If you were to save up for something from the boutique, save it for a super inventory stone. That's honestly the most useful thing I've purchased.
    But it's all personal opinion, so if the mount is more important -- I'd go with that. :)

    Well, I've only been playing a few days and I'm level 14 now. And that's just from me playing when I don't have anything else going on so I don't think it will take me long to get to forty. I think I have decided to go for the inventory stone first though in the interest of making more money. The more stuff I can carry the less time I waste running back to an NPC to empty slots and all that.

    I do need to check into how much a stone is though.*Goes to look.*

    If they're on the same server, you can mail one item at a time to another character and it will take an hour for it to go through. You can also buy an account stash stone from the boutique for 15 gold and use that to store items between characters. For now, though, the mailbox is a (much) cheaper alternative. Just be sure you spell the other character's name correctly. lol

    How much to Tauroc Valorian Pet Eggs normally go for in auction? I've only found one auctioneer so far because I had to take a break from the game for a bit and none were for sale there.

    Quite honestly, the price of such an egg depends on the person selling it and which server you are on. It would be much easier to simply get the egg yourself! <3<3<3

    Don't know how to find it? Try the encyclopedia! If you have your minimap on the right hand corner, you should see somewhere near that a flashing green book. Click on it, type in the name of the monster, and you should find it no problem. <3<3<3

    Anyhoozle. I do use the Wiki page a lot but I guess when it comes to auctions, that's where I get lost. Does one auctioneer cover the sales of the entire server or will the different ones have different items? It just doesn't seem very user friendly in that if there's no one else selling the same item as I want to sell or that I'm looking for I have no way of knowing what's overpriced, being a newb as I am.

    1 actioneer covers the entire server. If you try limiting your search you'll find what you need. Click around! And then when you can't find it, then ask b:victory
