As title says.
Most of you know it as "Event Gear", but I've seen a lot of people asking about this so called grade 14 lvl 95 event gear.
So I just I'd share a basic run down:

An no, I'm at not calling everyone "noobs" or instisting anything. Just seems as most people don't honestly know that much about end game as far as special things that can be done/enjoyed except old school players.

why would you call it "event" gear if its OHT farmable?b:question
what i personally consider to be "event" gear is the stuff like Heaven Shatterer etc... Stuff from LG which would take lots of expensive runs to get, mats purchasable via tokens, or just one item from a Pack. Anywho.. I'm still working on my OHT culti as is most of my faction that cares to do quests any more at this point in the game.. up to Delta Wave 4 part now which IIRC unlocks OHT map 2.
But yeah, I honestly wouldn't expect many new players to know about LOTS of stuff in the game other than Packs, hypers, and FC spam.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

I doubt many whOraclers and hypercrits even know what OHT/Unicorn/Moonshade is."Strategy without tactics is the slowest route to victory.

Why not call it "event" when it was extremely rare or non-existent before they were put in the packs?
It's a fact that all of the rare gear in the packs was just about non-existent before the packs. Lunar weapons, Frost weapons, -interval capes, Past helms and boots, Cube necklaces.
Probably the only "event" item that was common without packs was the Warsoul helmets due to them coming from Tournament.
Oh and btw, here's an example: To farm the event boots, you need 18,560 Wraith's Eyes. You can do a quest to kill 100 mobs, which will reward you 4 of them. Coupled with their drop rate, you're at a 6.22% per mob, so you'd need to kill an average of 298,393 of those mobs. The exp you'd get from that, without any multipliers, would be 102,348,799. And for the record, that's about what it'd take for you to level a character from 1 to 90. Have you ever leveled a character in PWI from 1-90 just by killing regular mobs? Didn't think so.I doubt many whOraclers and hypercrits even know what OHT/Unicorn/Moonshade is.
You forgot Valley of the Scarred. And I'd still guess they'd know at least OHT. That's like saying they wouldn't know TT1-1.I am Olba. Not Ol, not Baze nor Blaze. And even less would I go by Olblaze. Please, take a second to read a person's username.

Considering I was in the high 9x when the bh came out and 1xx when ff got nerfed. Yes, I am pretty sure that all my mob kill exp is enough to level a char from 1-90. Miss the all night zhen parties...1. If I kill you; do something about it yourself, don't go complaining to my wife.
2. If you have less kill counts then me, don't expect me to take pk advice from you.
3. If you are hiding behind an alt, don't expect me to acknowledge your existence.

why call it event gear anyway? it's not an event... jsut call it pack gear imho XD0

the thing is there werent that many people high enough to use alot of that gear when packs came out. so of course those things werent too abundant. I mean How many people were 95 and had been 95+ long enough to have farmed lunar for a heaven shatterer before packs round 1. I mean a couple months before anni packs I remember all the top factions on DW spamming WC actively recruiting a specific lvl 78 LA wiz by name. so to say there was very few before packs and therefore would still be very few is a null argument because the lvl of the player base has changed.
and whats the problem with some of that really good gear being really rare? isnt that how it should be? that the people that do the runs collect the mats and eventually make the gear should be the ones to have it? not the people that get lucky from gamblepacks or afk in catshop mode buying and selling to buy the gear someone got from gamblepacks
people also dont seem to realize that there are 5 versions of the oht hat and boots. the next lower one under the pack one needed 1/3 the number of wraiths eyes. and the lowest version which still arent too bad needing 2xx.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

Why does everyone seem to think that just because others received a piece of gear from a pack it somehow diminishes a sense of personal accomplishment to farm it? Does it need to be rare to feel proud of hard work?
Fuzzy is damn proud of his farmed gear regardless of what anyone else has. It make no difference. However, me do see alot of people upset about gear in the packs, yet at the same time (at least on RT) me see no one making an honest effort to farm anything either...
