What do you think about mixing TT99 gear...2 pcs from each class for a total of -0.15 interval?

You make your ornamanets magic class for the magic def.

Chest/legs HA and wrists/boots LA once again giving more magic def.

Does this set up interfer with recasting?

I recommend LA wrists and boots with HA chest and pants

    it does give - channel.

the only problem with dan's recommendation is that the top is extremely expensive, regardless of chipping, or buying. tis rather cheaper to make the accesories, but that leaves little room for customization/lack of decent mdef gear. makes it really a pve set up only

Well ideally, you're looking at 6 total pieces of armor. You need two light, two heavy, and two are free for anything. If you use one of those free slots for nirvana pants down the road, then now you've got five spots. Light wrists and boots, heavy chest and belt - the belt you can refine as needed to make up for the pdef lost in the wrists and boots, and this allows you to use whatever necklace you want, which means you can get a cube necklace, giving you very handy adds, a great refine rate for magic defense, and max hp +5%. Definitely the best route to take.
