Underwater Mounts

Well, today I was just thinking, there's mounts that fly, and mounts that run, why not mounts that swim? They might not be as popular as the others, but I'm sure some people might like it.

this has been suggested before, but yes water mounts would be nice.

The only problem is that we, as PWi players, spend barely any time under water. This suggestion would go along with those suggesting more Underwater instances, events, etc.

Well, thank you all for commenting, I didn't realize this was posted before, and was also already a part of the game (lobster mount). I'm just a nub with a ground mount. b:laugh I think that there should be more water mounts simply for those that don't spend their time on leveling, and just want something to do in their free time. If it could go on the ground, and in the water, that would be cool. :P

It's not a water mount. He just glitches, and the pics have been posted in another thread if I recall correctly.

Lol it's not a water mount. Sometimes I drop from really high into the sky, and then once I'm about to hit the water, if I hit my fly key, it dives into the water before the wings come out, so then it looks like I'm flying underwater with my wings. If you move though, it will automatically push you up above the water.

Yes I have thought the same when I had to do some water quests. But why stop there, why not have a do-all pet ride Like a Boa or Lobster could go on land and in water. And why can't land pets swim on the surface? I personally want a Land air and water ride that you do not have to feed that goes Different speeds 1-15 ( Sometimes I don't like to wait). Am I asking for to much?

I agree with the idea, but maybe for tideborns only, the same way venos are the only ones who can make their pets fight. Or maybe make it for everyone, but in case of tideborns, to be allowed to ride the mount while in tide form too, so that the % of swimming speed it gives can be added to what the swimming mount gives. By the way, at least in tideform, I think that you wouldn't literally ride the swimming mount, but you would maybe hold it's fins/back or whatever it has with hands in a strong grip, and let the mount pull U. I think that Tideborns shoul dbe able to "carry" others so that they can swim at our same speed while in tide form. But that "under water carry" should be shown as the tideborn pulling the other person by taking her hand.

EDIT: Also, we do need more under water activity/instance/events so that all those cool suggestions can be really useful and enjoyable.
