Well as much as it may change it's still the same at the core. Still not going to be a ton of things for you to do at your level. That's a lot of armor to get back though. You need to be serious if you don't want to spend real money on it. I don't want to sound like I'm saying "no", it's just a lot of work if you aren't going to be serious about it.

Hopefully your friends will help out some, as you did them. It could be an awful lot of fun doing stuff in your current position/situation. Lots of people get gears without spending so you can achieve the goal too.

I've been farming gear my entire stay here. My RL money only goes to charms (rarely use em) and more recently D.Orbs when they were on sale. I'm sure you can refarm your gear in a decent amount of time.

I was in pretty much the exact same situation. I had a 92 BM in one of the top factions with nice gear, and due to real life drama and a few other issues I quit and gave away everything besides my bound GX and Swindlers.

I started this character just under 2 months ago, and atm I have decentish gear for my level, just got my Lunar cape, have roughly 15m in spare coin and another 12m+ in merchandise. It is admittedly a great deal tougher than it was before, but there are always methods to make coin if you can learn and take advantage of them. I'd definitely recommend learning merchanting asap. It takes practice and research, but you can casually make up to 1m+ a day extra cash without even using a catshop if you have a good method.

Maybe make a cash farming alt. It can be a nice change of pace, a new challenge and a lot of fun. Good luck.

Fuzzy grows ever closer to completion, but still many steps away from what me build for. Me has the JoSD's for helm and leggings waiting, just need to finish farming the crystals. Same thing with the axe, crystals be the problem just now. But as 2x drop grows closer so does Fuzzy anticipation of +12 Wheel of Warfog. b:laugh

Depending on your gear grinding in UF at 95 (req lvl to enter) is fine. Everything there except bosses are just like Heaven/Hell, just a lot less hp and they take a reduction in damage by 75%.

To get the helm posted above, you need 18560 Wraith's spirit. If you time your entering and leaving properly and if you AoE grind you can get roughly 300 per day. I typically got about 200 on a average day. So 18560 / 200 = 92.8 Days of 2 hours per day (On average). - (yes after collecting about 3k of them I sold out and got the event item. I was under the impression you could trade 1 type of mat for another type though so I was going to start working on the cape once I got the map unlocked... still have completed RB...)

Also keep in mind: Once you finish your OHT Culti (I have not yet) you unlock 3 worlds that offer rep mats. They have ranks just as the UF helm does.
Can make the "event" boots, and a cape. Its very fun and it is very rewarding simply because you can't not buy your way to them. (cape, rank 1-4 of boots and helm)

I take that back, you can exchange Perfect Tokens of Best Luck for card hero tokens which in exchange can be traded for 500 of 1 of the 3 rep mats.

Also the Rep Mats have 0 value. Can not be dropped or traded.

OH, and....
You can also collect all of the signatures of the card bosses (summon bot bosses)
and from what I've heard if you collect all of them you can get 1 armor for free. PLUS a load of OHT mats along the way xD

16 tome frags = 1 set of cards, 1 card = 1 boss, and honestly don't recall how many bosses there are. I haven't played hardcore PWI for almost a year and I pretty much quit playing for the 6-7 months.... but i'm back and I'm going to start working on my OHT culti so I can farm my armors and get my belt!

Just a basic run down and sorry if it is not clear enough.

200 a day is at the very least ambitious, the wraith spirits, the mats for the helm require you to kill 60 mobs to get 4 spirits as a reward, and you'll get about 4 as mob drops, aoe grinding in unicorn can be dangerous, those mobs hit pretty hard. IMO grinding out all the mats for the highest rank helmet is a waste of time, the helm you get from the lowest rank quest costs 320 wraith spirits, gives the same +10 str, with a lower +hp and +vit add on, and takes far far less time to grind out. roughly 1/50th of the time to get. it has a lower base HP but gets the same +hp bonus from refining, even though its only grade 10. its about 300 hp less than the anni pack helmet, but still beats out pretty much every other available helmet aside from the nirvana helmet, and maybe championship helmet depending on the stats you're looking for. and getting something that refines like a g14 for so little work is not something your gonna find elsewhere. and because its g10 getting it up to 4 sockets is cheap as hell. (although the highest stone you can put in it is an incomparable). as a HA veno with absolutely no desire to shell out 150M+ for a helmet there was no better option for me.

I totally, agree. I was just pointing out. Grade 10 is nice because of the lack of socket stones. If you plan to spend plenty of $ though consider the grade 12 (+10 vit stones - I myself would never spend the money), its not much harder to obtain than the grade 10.

And, I started farming my UF helm before the first anni pack, so when I bought mine i got it for 25m, since they aren't in the packs anymore they ungodly in price. Was a nice slap in the face....

Why is it that just because a piece of gear is a available in a pack people seem to have some strange idea that it has become pointless to farm anything anymore?

Look at what Fuzzy has gear wize... out of all me have, only 3 things that came from the packs are the Warsong Lock, Lunar Robe and Tome. Me worked EXTREMELY hard over last 10 months to build what me have. Pieces like me Sign of Frost ring, Cube Neck, Weapon and full set of HA took blood sweat and tears to put together. All is 100% farmed.

Just because 99.99% of those that do have these items got them with a simple right click or bought them from a catshop does not diminish Fuzzy's pride in having actually farmed them.

Don't take things as a slap in the face Steel, just be proud of what you can achieve as a dedicated barb and smirk at all the clueless fool who simply rely on their pack gear and facerolling keyboard ability and think they are pro.

edit: after thinking about it as soon as me post, Fuzzy realized me lied a little by accident. The Golden Mask for Fuzzy's axe was obtained the "easy" way, but not the soul-edges.
