I have a few questions for this Sever forum's population b:thanks - Are you guys active? What about the...quality of gamers, do PvP/PvE make a difference? I hope I won't be the only one leveling at my level [10] b:cryb:surrender . Thanks...my questions aren't that defined -_-; Also...I'm a Sin, so I can't visit Arch yet. Do gold coins cost a lot??

Well, let's just say it's like the other servers right now except there's a lot of drama within the elites in the game as of right now. Also, the population is generally nice and just a few rotten people here and there like the other servers. You'll be leveling just fine.

Gold goes for around 400k each in our server.

tbh the server is active you'll definatly find ppl lvs1-40 leveling up weither they decide to play a different game or continue to play is another story. If anything i wouldnt be surpised if you find yourself leveling/questing along side someones alt, so i guess that helps as well. It's easy to find a good support faction on the server if you want to get helped with levels as well as factions recuirting lv30-50 for low leveled TW wars. The higher leveled factions recuirt at 80+. So we're not 100% dead Arch is still lags just not like sanc >.>

Only 2 factions make tw even remotely noteworthy. And thats only in the last 4 weeks or so. Before that, TW was a snore. And even now, if 160 people make for an interesting server in anyones opinion, well, i guess your entitled to your opinion.

TT mats and TT armor is virtually unavailable. In sanctuary, you can buy a full TT90 arcane set for under 10m coin. On our server the cheapest I have ever seen the chest piece alone is 12-14m coin. The full set? Good luck finding it for under 25-30m.

And buy the mats to make your own? Most days there aren't enough mats in the market to make even 1 piece of tt90 armor.

If you want to come to a server where it takes hours to find a squad to do anything, where you can't find gear or mats or event items or anything else in anything but the scarcest of supply, where if you do find them they want 80m for a cube neck (at todays gold prices, yes thats $213 (USD) and 200m for first cast of nirvana (at least 25% less on sanctuary), where if you want to TW you basically have a choice of only 2 factions (yes yes, there are others, but none that can even pretend to compete with the top 2), where only the same 20 people go into pvp mode and more than half the time there are none, then by all means, come to Arch server.

People that say any differently are just trying to paint a rosie picture so more people come here in the hopes that the server will become populated and more active.

You want a server sales pitch or cheerleader? That's one thing. You want the truth? Come to BLOODMYSTIC.

I wouldn't call it dead, I know the highend level range of the server took a huge exodus dump. But I seen the newbie areas lately are far more busier than when I rolled onto this server, and not all are alts....you can tell if you stand around long enough to watch common chat, can be quite hilarious---even more so with the good stuff---

Most are alts or will quit by level 40.

Seriously, yes, it's a very young server and most of what Blood said is true but the server IS growing and I'm seeing the opportunity for lower level factions to have some fun in TW that is simply not available on other servers and I think there are some very good young factions up and coming also. Don't let Blood scare you off, he's just a cranky old man

Blood's right this server is very dead. But dont worry, just play here but dont spend RL money if you got time to burn. And when Forsaken world, GW2, or other greater game comes, move there. I have spent 300 dollars on this game (not that much compared to the many cashshoppers), and feel it is already way too much for the level of game play. Its weird how so many ppl cashshop for those packs, I can tell by the amount of tokens I buy and sell lol....there is no lie there, i get like 2k tokens an hour during the sales, business is good .

The problem I see with this game/server:

-Levelling is too easy, I played 1-2 hours a day and got to level 101 easily.

-No one does much these days, I just catshop 95 percent of my time online. Merchanting is more fun than playing the game (can make lots from this just buying and selling)

-No motivation to upgrade gear (has been the same for long time). Could have +10ed weap with RL/ingame coins, but thinking of quitting to go to another new game. Have not cash shopped for so long....

-TW was boring (till recently revived thanks to Elusive)

-PK is pretty bad, and too much drama. They need to make instances, and give bonus to ppl that get more kills.

(cant think of them right now, but a lot of problems)

I swear this was exactly how this server was when i left in may for the summer
If i do come play now i think ill mostly mat farm and try to talk to my old friends if i can find them.
I only hopped on tonight and i just have this weird vibe, i mean its nothing specific but , Bloods description hits the mark for how i felt coming back tonight, Of course this prompted me to ask for beta key to Forsaken world as soon as i could lol.
Im happy to be back, and if i could find friends who were just doing quests or farming for mats sure i would be happy but somehow it seems soo sparce though i know it was slow night and all but....
I cant help but feel like something was gone from Archo server . like the breath of life has been taken out of it.
Bloods not a pessimist, he is being honest, these are the the same issues the server was having when i left almost six months ago. Things should have panned out by now i had hoped.

Roy and blood are correct...

On my home eserver LC we can get a +5 TT90 chest for less than 4 mil(sharded also 3 socket)

THe TT mats on ah have 7 pages each, not to mention the fashion you can buy for very very low prices...


For instance las night i was on arch saw a Broad land +3 (frost bow) on a shot the price was 22mil

In LC i bought a braod land +7 SHARDED for 23mil..


THe price difference is amazing.. you will not like arch its empty, i remember doing my quests and no one was near me( even after on my alt) i go to hell or heavan and no one is there etc...

Sadly this is by far the worst server to start over....

Its called "the players". The players have all gone. There are about 200 or so active players on the entire server I would estimate (in an entirely unscientific manner, but w/e).

Yeah the Archosaur servers population isnt brimming over. What I dont understand is why people are suprised about it. Its still new, it started in March, so its what? just over 6 months old. Of course its going to look haggard compared to LC or Sanc. Those servers have a "stable" economy, they have a healthy player base. And Im sure that when they opened they didnt struggle like arch is because there wasnt 7 different servers to play on. Leaving arch, or telling people not to roll here isnt going to make it any less of a ghost server. I just wonder what this servers (and a few others) fate will be when that new game comes out.

Well, I wouldn't say we were "surprised" exactly. The reason it is "noteworthy" (I think that may be a more accurate word for the "feeling" of most) is that the Arch server was pretty much booming early on. Its not that it has been slow to build. Its that it exploded then withered on the vine.

So, you seem to agree that there are better servers (stable economy and healthy player base) but that we shouldn't advise the OP of that, when that was basically what he asked? We, for the good of the server, should conceal the truth and advise him to come here to suffer our same miserable fate? Bun$ already did that, and I suppose misery loves company. But as I said in my original post, I don't white-wash anything. I assumed the OP wanted an HONEST assessment, not a sales pitch.

I can agree with that. I started on this server opening day, as a barb in HellsCore LOL. It did explode, and then wither.

Yes i agree there are better servers. When I started playing this game I started on Sanc. I then "followed the convoy west in search of a new and exciting beginning." I value honesty. I didnt say in my post that arch has a great economy, or a good player base. Although my optimism hoping that someday there could be, could be misguided and misleading.

Archosaur never really had the fairest chance from the beginning. But we all huddled together and gave it our best shot. I totally agree with a merge. It sounds like it could be the crutch that could keep this beautiful disaster afloat. All in all I just try to stay positive, which I understand can be perceived as ignorance.
