Just A Thought

It's interesting to see how only people who criticize the gm's are getting banned. The people defending them are flaming/trolling/etc. as bad if not worse in some instances. I just would like people to look at the bias of the situation. Sure, pick your side, whatever, but if the people in charge are going to go after rule-breakers perhaps you should look at some of your defender's posts.
O wait, nevermind, this would be competent modding. b:surrender

Hmm.. a thread that doesn't agree with how the Mods are handling the forums at the moment... I think there's gonna be a lock soon.
/sarcasm
Honestly, if the mods were doing their damn job a lot of threads would have been shut down by now. I wish we had Mods that knew what they were doing...0 -
oh no, someone will get banned for telling the truth soon[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

As is the trend these days. *sigh* I'm actually kind of sad, the game and forums that's I've enjoyed for so long have died.0 -

b:embarrass people forget it's the weekend Gms don't work on the weekends. The Mods aren't very good mods, no offense. But it's the truth.0

Mods got bored of spending their whole day locking/deleting/moving threads probably. Like I said somewhere, modding is like boring volunteer work, only that you can't put it onto your resume.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

I was being sarcastic, guess I should have put that "/sarcasm" thing in the post as well since it's hard to detect sarcasm in posts Gonna edit it now :P0 -

wouldnt it be amazing if everyone who currently doesn't like the admin situation just beggared off and started their own forum. That would really show the mods/gms how it is done.
oh but that would require work to keep going. and a forum full of angry souls? hmmmm. nm. move along. ignore this suggestion. just woke up[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

Im sure anyone who wanted to do that would put in the effort required .
You take on a task be that paid or voluntary then be prepared to put some effort into it otherwise dont take it on in the first place.
Sadly it would appear that peole wanted the title but not the job .0 -

Just another thought. Why do people constantly have to hijack threads into their own personal arguments?
Go make a new thread if you wish to argue, or take it to pm's. I am looking for an answer to a legitimate concern.0 -

No because the mods are horrible lol.0 -

I'm sure those who flame and troll for whatever side, if taken to an extreme level, will eventually get what's coming for them. But in most cases it's usually easier to target those against and then weed out the others. There has been a lot of posts made, let's give them a little more time to do their thing before we start accusing them of something yet again.[SIGPIC]http://i53.tinypic.com/k9ymnq.gif[/SIGPIC]

At first the new mods both came out guns-a-blazing, making sure that establishing their author-i-tah was priority #1, and naturally succeeded in alienating 95% of the players.
Then, wisely, there came a backing-off period, and personally I disagree with the view that Frankie made a mistake telling the mods to back off. It doesn't really bother me that a bunch of threads that should have been closed were left open for awhile. Letting the community speak freely, even irrationally and flame-tastically, was probably a good idea.
So now they seem to have locked/moved the truly horrible threads and left the majority alone, including ones that are outright negative or duplications of other threads. To me, that would seem to be a step in the right direction for finding a correct balance.
Of course, it's still early, so who knows what will happen next? But I do wish them well in their efforts.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
