    Mods are not paid to do their thankless job. They are volunteers who dedicate their free time to keeping the forums clean. As such, they have no obligation to camp this forum 24/7 in case some petty little idiot like you comes along. However, I thought it was part of Frankie's paid job to moderate these forums and answer the community's concerns. At least that is what I always considered the point of a CM to be. The lack of a report system other than to pm those moderating the forums, and the fact that their is a huge lack of mods for such a large space (on Flyff there were 8 or 9 of us moderating the forum of around the same size) means that stuff is going to get through. Just another thing on a long list that needs improving imo.

    That's okay, we're here to do what should have been done long time ago. I'm sure more than enough of you don't trust our judgments and will disapprove of our actions before, during and after we have taken them. And I'm more than okay with that.

    No matter what GM do, there is always people who doesn't agree and start flaming. I mean give them a break, they work on forum for free, and you all expect everything to be 100% perfect and clean? that is why Spoons left the forum, he can't take it anymore dealing with idiots like You.

    Just need more of 'em. Can't expect so much from so few people. The problem is that there are probably so few people who are valid candidates, because the trend seems to be that the more active you are on the forums, the more poorly you feel about the game and its community. It's a lose-lose, really. Just get more moderators though, it can't be THAT hard to find even a handful more.

    I've been here for, what, 4 days? I didn't even have moderating powers at the time b:question I'm a new mod here, I cannot carry the blame for other mods doings.

    If you have any concerns, you're more than welcome to PM us and we will get to them. I personally log in every day despite being a volunteer and this being my weekend just as much as it is anyone's. That also means that I check PMs and reply to them whether I can assist or not in that matter.

    Not what I was saying. Mods used to be respected, even if they made mistakes. Y'all dont even do your jobs, and deserve no respect from anyone.

    Have you even been a part of this to see what they've been doing. I honestly tried to give them a chance. I argued with everyone saying "Give them a couple days to settle in" they have proven me wrong. We (well I) gave them their chance, and they just screwed that up. Just because of what happened yesterday... why dont you go back and take the time to read a few threads that are still open

    You're still expecting too much. Obviously, given the history of this forum (especially the more recent history) it's somewhat understandable to be this upset. But you're really taking it out on the wrong people in the wrong way. Like everything else here, the problem is the upper management, safely hidden from view of the public. They need, realistically, something like ten moderators JUST for PWI, instead of getting barely a handful for every game they have combined. Expecting a handful of brand new people to be omniscient, especially from the get-go, is unfair to them as human beings. Blame the management for throwing them to the dogs, if anything.

    That is effing BULL SH*T. You were all close/lock happy in the Heaven's tear forums WAY before that 105 **** filled topic was made. So you had powers, stop lying. If you do want to lie, try doing it better.

    Dude. Grim deleted Rawrgh's Your mum joke but let my **** you PWI staff thread open for 13 hours. I think Frankie was the one to actually do something about it.
    It just proves my point that our new mods are ****ing brainless and useless in these forums.

    You honestly believe that she saw that thread, looked inside it, saw all the pornography and just decided to let it keep running longer? You really, truly believe that's what happened?

    Again, the problem here is being horribly understaffed. The general discussion forum, just on the PWI forums, needs its own dedicated moderator because of how fast things go by. The number of moderators here can't possibly be on top of everything at once. I know 106 pages is a lot to go by, but there's a massive problem in the community, and the mods are having to waste time on threads where people are accusing the mods of doing a poor job. If people wanted the forum to be better, they'd stop spamming it with the same exact thread over and over and point mods in the right direction of where they need to perform better.

    I suspect that the mods were given instructions to leave General Discussions well alone for frankieraye to solely deal with.

    Otherwise, it makes little sense why some parts of the forum are moderated and another, probably the most popular part, unmoderated for a period of time.

    On one level it appears that the moderators are not doing their job. On the otherhand, it appears that there was an approach followed to how to deal with what is / was going on in General Discussions.

    Eh... I don't believe that. Rawrgh's your mum post was IN general discussion. They were moding IN general discussion, where my post was at. They didn't even comment on it. They just let it be.

    Afriad i'm not familiar with the thread you speak of. Tried doing a search there for it but nothing jumped out at me as being the one.

    Part of my reasoning is that if a thread called what it was and containing a link to a picture that it did, it is a red flag of epic proportions.

    Probability is that the moderators and frankieraye were PMed by a few forum posters to that thread to which i'm sure at least one of which would have read it well before it was eventually deleted.

    That to me says either incompetency or certain instructions in force. I suspect the latter.

    Subsequent post by ChaoticShelly suggests (at least to me) thats what was going on:

    My post was deleted, it was For you guys <3 Thread. I can't remember the name of the thread where Rawrgh's joke was deleted. I pointed the same thing I said to you out to Grim when I saw it, and it was still hours later they deleted my thread.
    As for that thread that Zan started with the pron in it, they allowed it for 3 hours and 106 pages of replies before deleting it. Before it was deleted, posts were being deleted by some part of the staff. Posts were being deleted in other threads too. But the pron still remained up in the OP. I am going to side with incompetency rather than instructions in force.

    A. MODS DO NOT GET PAID BY PWI FOR THE JOB THEY DO. THEY ARE VOLUNTEERS. THEY DO AS MUCH OR AS LITTLE AS THEY ARE ABLE BASED ON THEIR OWN AVAILABILITY

    B. GMS ARE PAID BY PWE AND THE FORUMS ARE ONLY PART OF THEIR JOB, AND UP UNTIL RECENT SPAM MONKEY OVERLOAD, A VERY SMALL PART I AM SURE.

    Just a quick thing to say here. It looks bad really when the posters are on more than the mods. It looks even worse when there are people who know how to mod better and haven't been chosen. So most of us here have lives yet we are on more than the mods and some can mod better.
