Well guys GG they can disable images within user posts, how long you think till hyper linking is taken out as well.
(edited for name n shame policy) you're going to be the one responsible for having forums moved to lock down entirely. Great job mate, perhaps some legal action will come your way idk, but it sure as hell would be funny to see the example made and or a headline in MSN

Of a woman? no no no that would be far too normal but for an MMO forum for repeated offenses against the ToS as well as of individual staff members.

when it comes down to it, the players are the ones that killed the game and the forum with these posts. the GMs nor mods did nothing to cause it.
think about that for a second. if people were actually more CIVILIZED then these forums would be fine right now. but what do we get? a bunch of trolls that think they are out for justice/heroism when all they are doing is killing off the forums themselves.
so to all *** hats that made all the **** posts/troll posts/flame posts/GM and mod hate post/etc, GG. you all got what you wanted, YOU killed the forums. whats he next step? will you finally gtfo and let there be peace?
i highly doubt it. hopefully the next generation of PWI players will be more sane.0 -

the mods cant be on all of the time. the way i see it is there is only 2 of them. frankie did drop the ball when he appointed only 2 mods. a forum as big as this needs alot more mods then just 2. so dont blame them directly for the **** everyone is causing them.

Funny you mention 2 years ago. Have you noticed how management has changed since then? Have you noticed some of the lies and insults that have been displayed? Have you noticed the gradual increase in the levels of miscontent on the forums? And have you, by chance, noticed this correlation here?

im not saying it is. what im saying is for people to stop putting blame solely on them and look at there own stupidity that they are spreading in these forums just because of pure rage. just last week, the forums wasnt near half as bad as it is right now. and who is to blame for that sudden change? the players. yes the moderation is bad. yes the GMs dont know how to handle some things.
but you have to look at all the problems these people are causing.0 -

The way I see it, it's a little cause and effect.
Poor community management -> complaints -> ignored -> rage.
Something like that. WarrenWolfy brought up somewhere a very good point. The contemporary model that most companies pursue now, is one of honesty, one of transparency, one of customer focus. You treat them with respect, with dignity, with care, and they'll be loyal to you. They'll defend you. They'll stick with you. Very simple. Just telling people not to rage or not to do stupid sh*t doesn't address the root of the problem. That just quenches the symptoms of poor management, when in fact the underlying problem has not been addressed at all.

My 2 cents.
lets look at what happened. a few people got banned for trolling. those same people that got banned made alts in order to troll the forums and spread lies about the conditions of there ban in order to seek revenge. this lead to a domino effect because ppl were already mad about the TW changes and what not so they followed. they got banned as a result and also made alts to troll. and now we have what we have right now. it all started out of a fit of rage. not because of management. management was fine and the forums were fine untill those group of people got banned and started raging on there alts.
did i mentioned they all grouped up in MSN chat in order to plan out how to troll the forums even more?
you cant deny the fact that the forums were fine last week. the only problems we had was about the new rules and game is dead posts we been seeing. you cant say it was nearly this bad. not only that but you people are forgetting its a weekend and GMs are off. weekends is perfect time for trolls to run rampant.
like i said, i agree the GMs arnt doing a good job. but given the situation its hardly there fault.0 -

It was. I agree.
So they changed management and you're unhappy. Unfortunately the forum posters are only a small portion of their customers that are asking for change.
You really want them to change their way of handling their company for the small portion that cares about the way they're treated on the forums?
I think that is reasonable but not really fair to ask for.

And I know what you mean. I know I'm countering what you're saying, but I really do understand.
However, just take a look at the forums. See the kind of people they need to manage. They need to manage people that are use to getting their way, and getting hurt and posting nasty comments instead of calmly posting their opinions, and accepting the fact that IF their opinions were unheard and unanswered, it is because on the whole it was not benefiting the thousands of other players that enjoy this game as well but do not view the forums.

The only problem is that, people have tried posting in a calm and collected manner. Only to find that it does nothing, and nice guys finish last. I mean, after all this trash talking to the GMs, frankie can still come up trying to pass konari as a new mod. That in itself, I think, speaks volumes about their management.
That's why I personally preferred spoons. He was generally more open, had a larger presence on the forums, and actually dedicated his time to interacting with people. He was actually part of the community he was managing, and that's where I think people can relate.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
Nothing lasts forever. So given that everyone already accepted that fact when they were born and the fact that you choose to play this game not need to play the game... it is your own fault that you are mad. What you can do is either continue to raise your blood pressure or just simply stop caring. I think the second option is better.0
