    Kon, I'm glad you had the self respect to step down. Nothing against you at all, but since it was obvious that many people did not think you were suited for the job, it shows respect for them, yourself, and frankie when you are willing to offer the solution. The other two mods, they obviously have too much self pride and ego to realize that even if the trolling dies down eventually, they will never have the respect of the forum.

    Maybe when most of the current active posters leave and the newbs get brainwashed into the system, yea.

    Someone said the same thing to me about Aryannamage when I told them on AIM that she was an idiot. I actually never changed my mind.

    I'm just a little more forgiving towards frankie....If you've ever been an authority figure, such as an officer of a faction, you'd realize that after you promote someone or give someone a job, it's very hard to tell them to you don't think they're suited for it anymore. I can only hope frankie realizes that and the only reason he hasn't told them to GTFO is because he chose them in the first place.

    Been there, done that. Gotta grow some balls and do it. If you can't fire someone, you shouldn't be in a position to hire them.

    I think it's only fair to reserve judgement on the two remaining mods. Maybe they got a little overzealous with locking threads during the **** storm, but I can't blame 'em for that.

    We all might be pleasantly surprised once they get settled in here. If not, complain then, and you'll probably have some proof to back it up.

    I started giving them the crapstorm because they locked innocent threads and edited posts that didnt' need editing. People need to stop with this "reserve judgement" thing. First impression is everything. They failed at that.

    I go to FW forums. I was not impressed.

    Edit: I WENT to FW forums. I saw ChaoticShelly there. I was not impressed. I haven't checked lately though as I'm not sure I want to play another PWE game.

    Funny thing about first impressions is though when you fail it, it's a lot harder to make up for it than if you make a good first impression and fail later.

    Grim needs to be given a chance, he does try and 'work things out'. Just try and watch and judge HONESTLY, not on a whim.

    This is true, and they probably failed at it. All the same, the circumstances were pretty rough for anybody to jump into. I'm gonna try to stay optimistic. That being said, it would probably be good news for everybody if a third mod (that the community will be happy about) were added. As in, put some thought into it based on the reactions here.

    I find it funny that frankieraye is taking all the heat for this little scandal when it takes two to tango. I mean exactly how "voluntary" was it that ArcanumPrae stepped down?

    He seems like a popular guy among you guys, so I expect to be kicked around for speaking out, but its just an observation.

    I actually think there's not that much heat against frankie in this thread. I've already said my bit about it being hard to ask people to step down after you picked them for the job in the first place. But it'll take quite a bit of work to get me to respect the other two mods now.

    A few thoughts/questions I have:

    1. How/when did ppl realize it was Konari pretending to be Arcanepuma?

    2. Frankie/Konari wtf were you 2 thinking trying to deceieve the community like this?

    3. MsEvilness said it best...Konari was always more of a troll who got bored modding, had too much going on irl, blah blah. Perfect example was one day he pmed me in game (or was it me pming him; doesn't matter) after seeing me in ws. After I asked him "wtf you been doing dude, have you seen ht forums lately for example?" Bam 5 mins later 5+ threads locked on HT server (which led to my signature here on forums). He had gotten lazy/incompetent/had no desire to do it anymore/whatever you wanna call it.

    4. What was the point in bringing back a mod who had quit/given up before due to whatever issues he had?

    5. Is it asking too much that mods around here actually have oh idk knowledge of the game/issues we have had since it's inception? I mean wtf a 65 bm who's played the game 7 months (nor someone f/ A DIFFERENT GAME) has nfi how tws work and the FUN smack talking we do to one another in our server subforums for example.

    6. The biggest issues that ppl have nowadays are mainly tws, tts, pking, scamming, nirvana, things claiming to be fixed soon but never done (lunar and warsong come to mind), and bugs that have been here since day one (cleric magic shell for example). How the hell can somone mod discussions of these issues when they have nfi wth we are talking about since they've never participated in them or been here long enough to witness fail promises/lies to the community (lunar being "finished", warsong getting "fixed", something in "return" for 20% lower dq price, etc.). Oh wait they got to witness everyone attempting to deceive us w/ Konari masquerading as a new mod; guess that qualifies them eh?

    In this order, Raw. :3

    1. Someone made a lucky/educated/spy-related guess from the start; and that just set the ball rolling.

    2. I take a grand share of the blame; I was the one to bring the idea up in the first place. I figured that if I tried starting fresh with a new name, people might've been able to give me a fresh start. Obviously, I done goofed in that judgment. :P

    3. I'd chalk it up to a combination of slowly-growing apathy and mounting responsibilities in the real world. My college workload was growing rapidly, and I had to sacrifice many things to keep up. As of now, I don't play any games (console or online, save for a VERY few on my handhelds), and spend most of my time keeping up with my programming.

    4. As referenced in number 3, my workload was, and is, quite large. However, I'd finally started to get a handle on things, to the point where I thought, "Hey, maybe I can actually try returning back to Perfect World; it'd be an awesome time-killer, plus I can chat with all my old buds there, whilst gettin' back into some Modding." Great idea...but a zero for execution, obviously. :3

    5. I...uh...dunno how to respond to this.

    6. I'll admit, after the huge flamefest when I reintroduced myself, I realized what a bad (and stupid) choice I made, trying to make a new name and start for myself. I felt like I let a whole lot of people down, including the friends that I had on here. Little-known fact about myself, I'm actually a fairly emotional person, and one of the worst emotions I have controlling is guilt. I felt like it was all my fault for bringing up the alternate name idea in the first place, and that guilt...well, I'm probably jumping the shark with this...but that guilt built up quick, to the point where I started feeling physically ill. I figured that the only way I could "make it up" to the community was to just step down. I felt like I blew any chance, respect, and authority I had...and that if I was this emotionally stressed from my very first post returning here, there was no way I could survive here as a Moderator. I still feel bad that I had to step down so soon, and I do still apologize to Frankie, Ary, and Ami, along with those who had fairly decent hopes for me.
