    Topics that aren't related to the server discussions don't belong in them (such as this one), so we move them because of lack of relevancy. You know, trying to keep the order so that topics that are relevant will be easier to detect.

    anything from someone that plays on HT that post in the HT area is ok? how can you judge what "belongs" on a servers list when u dont play that server

    In any way, off topic discussions including ones regarding the moderation staff don't, in no way, belong here and they were and are moved from any server sub forum they are being posted in. I hope this answers you, if not, I'd be happy to help you more.

    Server/class related thread are for info and BONDING. It is fun to get to your own server tab and just chat about w/e with them. It integrates people and encourages different views. Maybe people from the same server have similar views about it? Hence a topic in the specific server.

    Also, there might be a person having a decent idea. You might move it to a Suggestion Box, and you would do wrong. People want the opinion of people from the same server/class about the idea. THEN, if it is liked, it can be Suggested in the Box.

    I'm kinda swirly atm, so not sure if you grasp what I wrote. If you have any issues, feel free to ask more knowledgeable people (me as well). I shall help you.b:cute

    Thanks for that post, I appreciate your opinion when its phrased in a manner I can myself relate to. As I mentioned before, I'm in HT server myself. But to know which threads to move and which not I don't have to play a certain server. We have guidelines that we use before taking any actions and we don't take any action lightly.

    I completely agree that one of the things a server sub forum serves is that it allows its players to engage and converse with each other. But there are forum rules that I (and my hellow MOD Grim) must enforce so that you guys can converse without insulting, flaming, trolling and spamming each other. Not everything that is completely off topic will be moved but certain things with a potential of going downhill will.

    Forum rules are forum rules, and most of us know them in one way or another. Please, remember that ANY thread (even official) has the potential of going downhill. If one assumed any thread can be a potential flame bait and or go downhill in another way, no thread would be open for longer than *insert low time limit*. Sometimes letting it go and waiting makes the thread worthwhile. Not all potential flames end in flames...

    I'm sure you guys know the forum rules :) I'm not here to remind you of them but enforce and make sure they are not being violated, and in some cases, prevent any further violations of them. Knowing the rules =/= not violating them in many, many cases.

    Many of the posts we moved were extreme examples of violations. The letter, not so much - in the future, we will not rush to move every thread the minute its opened unless it is a blunt, intended violation.

    We're learning the ways of the forum from a MOD point of view at the moment, and we value your opinions, especially when we can discuss them civilly.

    actually, i've never bothered reading the forum rules, nor will i. waste of my time. all that could come of that would be me self-censoring even worse than i already do, and i rein my words in more than i'd like as it is. if what i'm saying ever gets me banned, that will say more about the forum rules and moderation policies than about me.

    Guys.... imagine this:
    You google/open from bookmark/history/w/e PWI forums...
    You get a welcome screen where you HAVE TO log in... (if not logged in, you cannot browse the forums)
    You log in... and you get a pages and pages of rules and guidelines...
    You have to have a mic, 'cause they will need to check if you read it. You will need to read it out loud...
    THEN.. you have to take a multiple choice test regarding the text you read out loud...
    Only if you pass with 100% will you be allowed to enter and post...
    When you post, it will automatically screen your post and if anything, it will not allow you to post it and you will get insta banned...
