a little help here

ok being the nice guild leader i am i have been trying to help one my guildies level up his crafting skill and hes done pretty much ever thing on his own in doing so but he hit a snag when he can not get to level 2 in his crafting skill, i went over all the baisc asking him the genaral info i would need to help him level it up. and hes crafted arrows 27 times so far but yet nothing any one have any ideas that could help me help him

    not 100% sure but don't think arrows or bolts count toward raising your crafting level, think it has to be actual ornaments

    Correct, arrows do not count for actual experience.

    this is why noobies dont create guilds when they have no idea them selfs, i mean...what use it it having a guild leader as clueless as a guild member.

    crafting arrows dont increase crafting level, if your trying to do blacksmith, you must create actual weapons, after youve done that, go to any elder and upgrade it to level 2, once at level 2 do the same again, which will take x4 the amount of time cos of how many mats are needed, when its on 10/10 craft, go to the elder again and learn it to level 3.

    when its level 3...give up unless your prepared to spend the next entire day grinding non stop to get enough mats, even then it may not still be enough as you also have to do a quest to get it to level 4, creating a 2 star bow/sword/staff which is damn hard, , so tell him to whip out his credit card, charge 50 zen, buy his mats, and happy gaming b:bye

    actually, i didn't know crafting ammo gave no experience myself, either. but that does suggest an alternative way of working through the problem; if crafting arrows doesn't seem to work, go craft something else and see if at least something works.

    and yeah, the way you have to go to a jewelcraftsman to make ammunition? makes no sense whatever. ijs.

    I think that is probably a translation issue Lenie probably Jewelcraftsman is the closest the lazy localizer could find for whatever the guy is called in chinese since his main purpose is making different shards.

    just a thought anyway.
