It's critical hits.
Wolf Emblem makes your critical hits do more damage than usual, whereas Power Dash increases your critical hit rate.I am Olba. Not Ol, not Baze nor Blaze. And even less would I go by Olblaze. Please, take a second to read a person's username.

Rage damage at 200% means you hit 200% of normal damage when you crit. Add WE to that and it becomes 230% so when you crit, you'll hit 230% of your normal damage.0

it makes them angry0 -
Is there any way to boost your rage % in a semi-permanent fashion with gear or something? Or just buffs temporarily?0
-
people are confused because there are 2 different things in all games
critical hit rate (critical hit in display window) = your chance to crit. if your crit rate is 25% then 1 out of 4 hits is a critical
critical damage (rage in display window) = its how much damage you do if you crit. if your have 200% rage then just multiply your regular hits by 2. if you have 230% rage damage then multiply your regular hits with 2.3. that much damage you do if you crit.LeiMai - Raging Tide wrote: »Is there any way to boost your rage % in a semi-permanent fashion with gear or something? thanks, thats what I thought but I wanted to check.0

with just buff. i think sage sin get permanent 220% since buff last like 30 minutes
Indeed, Sage Wolf Emblem gives +20% Rage Damage for 30 minutes.
Regular Wolf Emblem gives +30%, lasts 30 seconds and has a 1 minute cooldown, so it's more like a permanent +15%.
Demon Wolf Emblem gives +40%, lasts 30 seconds and has a 1 minute cooldown, so it's more like a permanent +20%, just like Sage Wolf Emblem. Except that you don't need to rebuff the Sage version every minute.I am Olba. Not Ol, not Baze nor Blaze. And even less would I go by Olblaze. Please, take a second to read a person's username.

And demonn is better for burst dmg while sage keeps doing good dmg9 out of 10 voices in my head say I'm not crazy... the 10th is singing the music of tetris0 -

rage is uesless, dont bother getting the buff to increase it, it's not worth getting.0 -

Yes, consider how rarely Sins crit, a buff that increase how hard you hit is obviously useless.0 -

unless ur sin has my build, then u crit very often, and its still not worth buffing, doesnt last long, waste of mana, and not worth even clicking to buff with rage increase.0 -

My bad, I didn't realize 40 mana is so expensive to some people. Guess I should get off my high horse.0 -

if something isnt worth doing it's not worth doing, regardless of cost, the cost of mana is just a bonus to why u shouldn't do it. 40 mana every 30 seconds for 1 mob, ur choice, i don't care, just have some common sense instead of argueing with me without thinking if im right or wrong, ur just commenting to everything i say to annoy me, that is the only reason u truly commented.0 -

Who said anything about mobs? Hmm I can crit him for 2000 or for 2300 for 40 MP. Nahhh f*** it.0 -

300 dmg is nothing. still not worth doing. it's still pointless. it's still not worth the effort of an extra click, everytime.0 -

1000 damage is just an example. Since my Headhunt usually hits around 3K on AA, it's *only* 6k crit or 6.9k crit. But who am I kidding you obviously know better from 11 days of oracling and hypering a Sin.0 -

i do know better but i never oracled this sin, i hypered from mobs without taking much damage, i used no potions except about 200-300 life powders from lv 1 lol. life powders are the best.0 -

11 days, eh? You just proved yourself to be an oracle/hyper noob. You are no longer of any interest to any of us sins who gained our levels legitimately and learned how to play our class. Fail more please.
nah it just shows u have a slower learning capacity, to think u need to play *legitimately* to learn the skills, well have fun with ur handicap lolz.0 -

__________________________WOLF EMBLEM______________________________
In the attempt (which will fail) to reason with you.
Just an example, as it works in marketing everything is done on scale.
A person that collects pennies for a year, is oft better off not doing so as he is not likely to gain enough to make substantial profit.
A bank that does so, capitalizes off of millions of pennies a day turning other peoples wasted funds into a gold mine.
Just the example of scale there.
For game let's say a normal hit does 4k on a mob, 8k crit, 9.2k with emblem
now let's say you have 3(rounded for simplicity) attacks per second
in 10 seconds, there are 9 crits out of 30 attacks
W/o and using consistent dmg above, that's 84+72= 156k
Compared to emblem with same : 84+82.8 = 166k
Now, as this 10k difference is not much, notice how the damage creates a scale slope.
The more damage you're doing and more oft you crit, the larger the scale gain is.
In pve grinding, yes, this is a waste because the difference is not high enough.
In LONG TERM PVE against a boss for example
If I'm fighting and debuffs are up while I hit with a normal triple spark auto let's say I do roughly 15-18k normal crits, however when I use Emblem, during that debuff time, my hit value rises on crits to 23-27k per.
Given the descaling of damage on a boss that's quite a lot of damage difference and it becomes larger as it is stacked with more interval where the increased damage adds up over time.
Brief summary as most people on the forum can't read more than 2 line posts
PVE grinding = waste
PVE bossfight/tt mob = Good
PVP similar to a boss fight = Good
{edited}I can see what you see not,
Vision milky, then eyes rot.
When you turn, they will be gone,
Whispering their hidden song.
Then you see what cannot be,
Shadows move where light should be.
Out of darkness, out of mind,
Cast down into the Halls of the Blind.0
