I just thought of this and has any wiz used spark + then dragon strike by using cloud eruption to get one spark or the apo item? Just want to know :p

    i do this all the time, demon spark (use up 3 sparks) then instantly cast an ultimate (consume 2 sparks) hailstorm or what ever and blast another spark ultimate :O




    combine this with a crit maybe frenzy and a Ton of debufs on your target and there you have numbers over 200k popping up in pve.. or over 20k+ in pvp xd

    Sure, it's easy. And does verry nice dmg.
    At lvl 89+, you have 3 sparks and 99 chi. Than you can simply start at full chi, 2 spark, use a fast skil to get a little bit of extra chi (and back up to 2sparks), and BIDS

    You can actually do it under lvl89, just by using single spark, gush, then bids.
    having a bit of -chan gear helps as single spark doesn't last that long. and you need to make sure target is in range of bids, as it has shorter range than gush, unless you have it well leveled.

    Ninja spark is only good in TW/Ninja PvP

    ...and Clerics are Mushrooms.
    Paper beats Rock. Scissors beats Paper. Scissors also happens to beat Rock...until Rock gets 50k+ soulforce at which point Rock becomes an unstoppable killing machine that beats Paper... and would beat Scissors but it can't find Scissors, because Scissors are invisible.
    So Scissors beat Paper and avoids Rock, and that is called BALANCE. -cheze

    For epic PvE hits you might consider Blade Tempest since it gets twice as much bonus from sparking. I do it all the time. Even used it in TW once :P

    Well i personaly prefer frenzy+EP to double sparking when i use and ulti...but im having a smexy afair with my expel Genei so i can only EP =(
    Ive always wanted to know whether its better to triple spark an ulti or just debuff it *Frenzy+EP* *You can do both with apocs but meh timing and..waste of an apo cooldown o.o* For me its better to debuff but thats just with triple spark...Anyone willing to test it out for meh? :D

    tripple spark is double damage and 25% faster channeling as demon xd


    when u have effing loads of time you can undine frenzy and tripplespark an ult :O

    It's a 700% weapon damage added to your base magic attack... usually this is more than double your magic attack (unless you have 600+ magic) but then again, spells have more additional damage and weapon modifiers than just base magic attack. BT does 2x base magic attack hence the only reason it gets 1400% added when triple sparked.

    A while back I was dueling a friend w/o a wep, my BIDS was hitting roughly half of what I normally hit him for. I wouldnt underestimate base skill damage :P

    Well without a weapon the 500% add to the skill itself won't do damage either. But simply saying it doubles damage is not a good answer because the formula is different (i.e triple spark adds a certain damage, it doesn't multiply). I wish it was simpler and more multiplicative but oh well D:

    oh I know, but you ONLY mention %wep damage/magic atk etc.. I dunno if you do it intentionally or not, but the base damage from the skills themselves are very significant to the actual damage as well.

    When I get home I will work on it, but if you are sage with sage BIDS you should be using BIDS with your triple spark most of the times because a triple spark ulti crit = certain death.

    True but that damage remains the same when you spark or not... it doesn't become "double" damage with sparking or something without a weapon it actually remains the same.

    If you got time (ie you're ninja'ing someone or hiding behind a wall or wall of bodies in TW) then I sometimes get off tripspark /gods tea / undine / EP / BIDS or BT. I've done a 58k crit to a 101 barb with that and no other debuffs

    I'd like to add frenzy but my genie is sh1tty, and I've never managed to time it with HF or amp yet...My personal goal is to land a >100k PvP hit right now...mnomnomnomnom

    BIDS benefits more from EP and Frenzy because it has higher base damage than BT. BT benefits more from triple spark. Triple Spark Frenzied EP BT is probably the highest damage you can do as a mage.
