Crimes? Perpetrators?

I resent the language that is being used to refer to PWI players. If someone violates a rule he is being called a "perpetrator". Said violations are called a "crime".
If it is a crime, mister, I expect you to report it to law enforcement. Or to submit a public apology for this language.

Federal crime? Where? Not in the USA...
Contracts are civil matters in the US, and breach of contract is remedied in the same fashion (i.e., financial redress, injunctions against certain actions, declaratory relief, etc.). Unless, of course, your contract is with the US Federal Govt, in which case breach of contract can be a crime...0 -
So we have a company that own a social game and its representative writes in an official manner that players that fail to follow subjective and contradictory rules are deemed to be "perpetrators" that commited a "crime". Way to go! Now how about hiring a community manager that actually knows how to address the community and rebuild some of the trust that has been lost in the last year?0

Oh come off it. It's a game. And the prizes for TW are freaking mirages, it doesn't even hurt their profit. And the few fake bids that have happened have been stupidly easy to spot. Everyone knows PWI is going way over the top over this whole thing. Using words like "crime" for breaking game rules is just being silly.0 -

violation of the terms of use is a breach, true, and to be sure a minor breach, which would only allow the non-breaching party compensatory damages, IF and only if that contract is enforceable, which by its terms would be quite a hurdle to overcome, its full of holes, vague clauses, intent to contract with minors which comes with its own set of enforceability problems, lack of consideration in some clauses, and arguably adhesion clauses.
as to the rest of your comment, you could not be more wrong.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
i know this thread will soon to be lock...but arry or whoever pls make an apporpriate stick/thread....the mirage change hardly relates with wats currently goin on.....so either unlock kanto's thread or make a stick that us players can properly discuss the current situation....i do believe that would be the best course of action at the present momentIf I sound like I hate you, please don't take it personally...chances are I actually do.0

The OP does have a legitimate point, although this probably wouldn't make it high on my list of PWI's practices we should be concerned about as a comunity.0

Its already open. Kanto can come tell me off tomorrow. Meanwhile I am not even sure what to say about this thread...[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0

O.o'
Sowwy, me tinkering of Michael's mind may have led to some.....flaws? (nothing permanent though and this be all just stuff that already resides in his head.)
