Weapon Procs during aoes

Can someone please explain what happens during procs when aoeing?

If I aoe with a weapon that has Gloom (Has a chance to greatly increase physical attack
at the cost of losing 5% MP) on 20 mobs and it is triggered will it activate on all 20, or at the 5% proc rate? Does 1 atk that activates against 3 mobs cost me 15% mana for hitting 3 mobs, or 5% for 1 attack?

If something has a proc like Bless (Has a chance to increase Physical Attack and Physical Defense) and I aoe 20 mobs is that 20 chances for it to activate? or 1 chance because it is 1 attack?

    The proc % is set and doesn't depend on how many mobs you hit. You have a X% chance to proc each time you use that weapon to hit, whether to AoE or hit one mob. So with a 5% proc rate, hitting 20 mobs at once doesn't guarantee a proc. Nor does it proc "more than once" in AoE, as in zerk taking more than 5% of your HP or Gloom taking more than 5% MP. Effect like zerk or Soul Inflect applies to all the targets you are AoE-ing if it does proc, so all the mobs get hit twice as much or decrease max HP.

    It means that if you AoE, the chance to zerk or gloom is still just 20% or 5% or whatever. It also means that if it procs, all mobs taking damage will take double damage with zerk.

    What it means is that, when it procs, it's a 1 shot. The real question, however, is whether or not a proc that reduces enemy def, seals, stuns, or freezes hits all or just the one it procs on.

    For each weapon attack, whether it is single target or AoE you have one chance to proc per attack. It doesn't matter how many mobs are hit, it's still just one attack.

    Crits are calculated against each target, but an effect a weapon may have is calculated once per attack.

    its 1 proc chance per attck no matter how mnay targets it hits.

    i use giant ape axes. and was hella funny when the stun proc activated on a sunder and stunned the whole group. that was priceless. i can see this happening a lot more often on an axe bm who can use aoe more than once every 30 sec and having a 2 spark cost. ill be saving my gaint ape for my bm :P
    Killing level 80's with a lvl 60 is a lot more fun than killing level 90's with a level 100.

    Yeah, zerk is how you go from doing 8-9k on a mob to doing 49k hits.

    There would have been much cussing in game and on forums if it was proc chance per hit. Imagine using Sac Strike on the big room pull of FCC. That would have been funny as hell to watch from the outside at least :) Usually just thinking about something will disprove it when it's this obvious though.
