    As if Devoted's thread (and indeed, NiteRage's) wasn't deliberately stereotypical from the beginning? The only difference is Devoted did it as a joke and NiteRage kinda didn't. But it's still stereotyping, and any reasonable person, when seeing someone enaging in self-mockery due to fitting a stereotype, will presume that the person is just joking along the lines of "haha, you got me!" From that we can assume that my post up there was made in the vein of "playing along," instead of deliberately enforcing stereotypes.

    No, of course not all archers are math-heads. But let's be honest: anyone who goes into the archer board could be forgiven for reaching the conclusion that most of them are... even if it's not entirely accurate.

    Honestly, do you take me for the kind of person that would put stock in stereotypes? Generally we assume that people are smart enough to not believe in them to the letter. Generally we give them the benefit of the doubt. But I'll try to remember to put [/joke] tags on everything I don't mean completely seriously, and what the hell, let's add a little disclaimer on the bottom of every post saying "I totally didn't mean that about all [insert group here]s." Just for you, Elena. :P

    DISCLAIMER: I have a terrible memory and will most likely forget the above promise. Also, that was totally a joke. For serious.

    Thankies for the links. The *original* one I saw, the one by NR somehow slipped...

    Hmmm so I read the previous thread and I disagree with the barbs one (my main is a barb), though there are some barbs as he described as well. Other stereotypes, sure:)))

    I have a challenge then... you forgot 1 more ....
