5.0 BM farming.

Decided to make a 5.0 BM alt. for farming. First priority is farming TT90 Gold Mat Mother's Aura for my main from the snake-like lady. Equipments I will be using on the BM. Will it have trouble tanking during solo squad mode? Can I tank the boss without much charm tick or if I need a charm at all?

    If you can get tome, don't get the 99 belt and neck... they're horrible. Get the 99 boots and the 99 wrists for the interval.

    I already have the nirvana wrist and leggings. Not sure if I want to waste money on tt99 gold wrist and boots since I'm planning for full nirvana HA on my main and share equipments between main and the alt bm. My main is a barb so he'll be using warsong belt and cube neck.

    With my original equipments, you think I can do Sacred Mother's Aura with relative ease? Need 16 of them to make the rest of my lunar gold gear b:cry.

    I can solo with just blood paint and my hp is only 7.7k so I'm guessing yes

    I jsut use a pick axe..its cheaper.
    This game is like washing hair with shampoo... Rinse and repeat if desired.

    The belt and neck are terribad and generally an in-between for the boots and wrists.

    All of this is easily farmable w/o spending a cent and if you are a merchant = Easy street and worth it in the end. b:surrender

    I'm planning to use the evasion belt and necklace for PvE farming, it's not like it's hard to switch between ornaments.

    Then go fist barb instead of making a BM. Full Nirvana set on a BM would be a waste. It's unnecessary. You'll also want to shard at least 50/50 with Sapphire Gems if you want any realistic mdef. But I guess it doesn't matter if you're going to have a cleric with you.

    it'll take a long time before the money/time you spent on your bm to get the gear/level pay off in the amount of mats you get.

    why not just buy the mats from the profits from merchanting?

    and this... how much money are you planning on farming with it? Spending 500 mil for 5 APS BM just for farming, you better be farming a few billion coins.

    First of all, it was a simple and honest question asked while logged in from my other computer. Secondly, I own most of the stuff already. I'm only missing the claw, ornaments, and the cape which probably cost somewhere around 100-140m total. A small price for a 5.0. Seriously guys, all you had to do was tell me if that BM could survive Mother Aura boss without too much charm usage.

    Roid, you have billions of coins, why do you need to farm Mother's Aura? I'm 1% of a merchant as you and I never farmed on this server up til Nirvana.

    If you want to play a BM for playing sake, I'd be glad to give you advices, but it seemed quite an odd question to make a BM to lvl 100 for farming 3-1.

    with your coinage, 5.0 sin > 5.0 BM. It costs more but holy shishca at the craziness some top end sins can do. Our 102 sin can do 3-3 with 2 clerics and himself. b:shockedb:shockedb:shocked

    I've wanted to make a claw/axe BM for a while and share equipments between my barb and BM. Already have a lvl 80 BM from opening nien packs and exp orbs so why not? Another reason is I refuse to pay 4M per Aura. **** that! I would rather threw a few hundred million coins on my BM than pay 4m for each Aura. b:angry

    AznAssasin farmed 50m a day before the TT changes, and can still do 15m-20m a day even with the hell they call tt3-3 (among other instances). If you're going to make 5.0 anything I'd much rather see someone go all out and properly do it because you get a much higher ROI.

    Lolz the way this topic went just makes me lol... its no1's business why he spends 200-300mil for a 5aps BM to farm... the guy just asked a simple question...
    I spend 150mil for a 5aps sin, with that money i couldve easy buy 300 cannies and get my nirvana pants on veno but looking into perspective... soon no1 will take venos for nirvana, or at least not a decent squad so yeah ppl need to addapt to what the trend is, and if paying 150mil will help you later farm 200-300mils its still an investment.

    Agreed.

    With the money you would spend on BM you could make a brutal pure STR fist barb. If I remember correctly, Susa has 24k hp buffed in human form with fists. He has 36k hp full vit tiger for TW, but since TW is **** now, he's statted for fists, and he's pretty amazing. Maybe I'm wrong with his buffed fist build, but I know he has 36k hp in tiger when he's stat for vit. He has so much hp he can go 3 vit and still has insane hp.

    while no HF , fists barbs are great for farming 3-x and nirvana, love having one in squad, although they might not out DPS its still very high, the HP buff, atk buff, and safety of a tank incase of a boss or other emergency is great

    odly enough i personally dont like 99 ornaments, if i plan to refine at all especially. since 99 bracers and 99 boots as light armor (fist and HA you meet the req's for it already) since their pdef isn't that bad to loose in comparison. i'd refine the lionheart ornaments to easily make up for the loss of pdef plus some tbh. but that's just my personal opinion

    im not a fan of Ashura (LA) ornaments either but if you go LA boots/gloves you need to get like +7 on each lionheart ornament just to cover the pdef 'lost' by going like that instead of HA boots/gloves and LA ornaments

    If you can afford to make a 5.0 char, then you can afford to gear your main.
