    To the OP, please dont get discouraged as an archer at your current level. Continue to level up and you will find new skills which require all other classes to rely on you in future instances. For example, you will receive Sharpened Tooth Arrow (STA) which reduces a mob's overall HP by a percentage based on the skill level - all classes will want you in their squads just for that skill alone because boss HP can be reduced and thus, can die faster. Also, Barrage of Arrows (BoA) is a very good skill in the later instances, where you can essentially maintain a rain of arrows continuously till mobs die or a boss dies (esp in Twilight Temple (TT) instances). Make sure you keep your basic buffs leveled up to the max as possible like Blazing Arrow (= more damage, faster kills) and Wings of Protection (= faster squad, faster kills). Additionally, get your debuffs (Serrated Arrow you will get soon) and stuns up as you level slowly so, in the later instances you will be able to help crowd control in case any emergencies may arise. Always keep your passives maxed as those help you deal more damage and longer ranges than other classes, in general.

    Remember, as you learn to play your archer character well, and if you continue to do so, by the time you reach your 80's, 90's, etc, you will be an essential to the squad and thus, you will be able to land squad parties as you wish.

    Some classes are needed more than others in general, but a proficient player in any particular class is always indispensable.

    Of course, every class has its challenges.

    If you feel archer might not be for you, you should not delete but should make a new character. You should only delete when you have eight characters and want a ninth on the server and do not want to register a new account.

    (Also, I sometimes get into FBs but not very often. Never mind that I could solo a lot of them now... And I have very substandard gear when I compare myself to other people posting here and other people I see in game.)

    Meanwhile, an archer can be useful in a squad. Your range lets you react quickly to problems, you have a stun, you have a freeze, you have some AoEs, you have the ability to tank a hit or two (especially if you use your winged shell). If you keep an eye on things and try and make things go right, sooner or later you will find people that notice things go smoother when you are there. This works even better if you can find friends that mostly play on your schedule -- because then you can learn how to work with each other, how to recognize a bad situation, and how to make it into a better situation.

    Hi, I know I'm new here, but I think the whole "Class War" has nothing to do with the original post. I'm lvl 71 (almost 72 yay) arch and I have trouble finding squads sometimes too.. so whenever I make a BH or TT or whatever run, if there are good players on that squad, I'll add them, so when I need BH or TT or whatever.. I try to do it with friends.. A: it's more fun, you get to know how the other players think and don't have to bs about drops and wines and what not. B: You can do it again the next day.. and about the whole "Class War" .. if you're good, you're good, regardless of the class. I've seen squads fail over bad clerics, bad barbs, psy's that couldn't control their dmg and the same with archers and wizys. In short, b good at what you are, work as a teem and enjoy your char!

    Don't get discouraged, archers aren't -really- Needed so much at lower levels.. yes, but 70+ is when they start getting more attention as good DD Especially with STA (Sharpened tooth arrow), Archers aren't meant to tank things, but at higher levels with Decent gear, as in gear that isnt missing any elemental defenses, you can usually tank whats thrown at you. I even generally have to tank the 79's sometimes at some point during killing the boss, because even with damage control.. there are so many barbs that just.. don't know how to play they're class (fruits and oracles to 80 basically) and i steal aggro, cleric just heals me and I start tanking it.

    "keep failing" lmfao. Ofc there are many things possible, like soloing 3-3, problem is if it's practical at all. Your point equals to this:

    I want to farm Illusion Stone SOLO on my archer. So I chip 99 ornaments, buy Lunar claws, rrefine ornaments and rings. restat dex into str or even restat into heavy. buy Scroll of Tome (just for the sake of it). Equip plat charms. Dolls, res scrolls. Yeah, its possible. But its just plain stupid.

    lol...whats up with this 10X acting like a bm needs tons of sht and epic gear to do FC...a 9X bm doesnt need epic gear to do a FC probably 1 hp food per pull + marrow, maybe a charm tick but that isnt much, AB or AM for the big room lol even a wizzie with expel can get that done 3sprk DB + expel. like i said everything dies in 3 secs or less after 9X

    and the runs with lets say 2 bms instead of a barb are damn fast IF u and ur friends can manage to do it at 10X well lol at u guys >_< ill keep doing all dif set ups, already did no cleric with a barb and it wen fine. already did bm do the pulls wizzie tank em and it went fine lawl. also no barb no cleric bm tank wizzie heals....all that stuff with no epic gears with just 9X and 20-30 min runs. IJS lawl if u think it takes to much time/effort/coins at that lvl u fail
