Taylor upgrading

Hello I am called ImFOXIE in the game. I am a Veno. And I have been upgrading my tayloring skills.. and have done upto lev 2.. went to elder he upgraded me to make level 3 items.. But Im unable to get points when im making level 3 items why?? I have wasted 5 sets of mats.. which are hard to get at level 24 still it says 20/30. any advise would really help me.. Thanks Sandie

    There are different sorts of "lvl 3". You need to make items that require "lvl 2" of your manufacturing skill, not items that "require lvl x to use" and not "grade x" items.

    Check the descriptions on the NPC, it tells you what skill level you need.

    EDIT: and DON'T bother making lvl 3 items once you get there. Getting from 3 to 4 requires you to make certain 2-star items for a quest --- read around to find which items you'll need to make. Making anything else = waste of materials.
    Slow progress, game is getting way too grindy :-( Quests I still hope to be able to do some day: FB39, General Feng
