TW on Lost City server is dead/dying!!!
No one seems interested anymore!!!
Please unless you want the 10X players to quit (and I perceive that is indeed the goal) reinstate the usual reward for TW?
If you want to balance the economy then limit the number of lands one guild can hold and have lands reset once max refund has been reached, like 12 week max. This will spread the "wealth" around and keep the map fluid and interesting.
I know this topic has been discussed to death, have seen the threads with umpteen million replies and no apparent response from GMs etc. But I have to try, sry folks

Your idea is pretty good. That would help keep the balance. Just realize that they will not change it back after making their decision. When they set their minds to a goal they stick to it and when it's over there is no reply to the customers.....
I totally agree with you though. Not that I play anymore but it does seem pretty lame that they would ruin such a great game with mirage stones.... could reward us with something useful. Those guilds worked hard for the lands they recieved (Some) and you're throwing **** in their face. WTF?
P.S.In all honesty if they want to get rid of players they should just start banning people instead of ruining the game.Conqueror

I think lots of the higher long term players are getting so bored that they resort to doing things against the TOS and get banned nonetheless.tatuaje: grinding mobs and zhenning ???

Has anyone ever been permanently banned? I don't think PWI has the balls to perma ban someone...that would be eliminating any potential sales from the cash shop.0

I am sure they could get perma banned if they wanted.
They just get tired of trying.
Oh and one other thing. There was a recent player requesting to be deleted and the GM I believe mentioned perma banning.tatuaje: grinding mobs and zhenning ???

NO.
Allow a faction to own as many lands, but have a % chance each week that a land will be subjected NPC attacks.... with no limit on how many lands can be attacked by NPCs, though limit it to one attack per npc land. Make the attacks random, and at any given time during the normal non-TW week.
So, if your faction gets attacked at 4am server time on a tuesday and you only have 30 people online, you're screwed and the land goes back to NPC status and people can bid on it when bidding opens.
This wouldn't affect TW because that's fri-sun. These attacks should occur between mon-thur.I post in forums. This one and others. That's why I post.0 -

ya they can all be atk'd in one weekend. When CQ gave up the map, every single land (except the cities) was atk'd. 3 Wars only is what I find silly. It should be completely random when the server decides the time. You could have it all spread out or you could have it all at the same time.

The server has been dying for a while tbh...
The issue is that LC based SO much off of competitive TW's and now that they are gone, people just do not care. Those that do care just farm, afk in south, duel in south, find some of the pk going on at west etc...
It is sad because this was once an amazing server.
I have been on a break for about a week now and when I log in occasionally to help if someone gets me on msn, I am saddened...but maybe the tides are turning soon? Who knows, we will see....
TBH, I want to see some of the newly formed guilds take an active role in TW...could make some things more interesting...[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

I've seen your gear Reds. If Essence is anything like your gear than no other factions have a chance.
Its obvious that Essence is great in its numbers, gear and experience.
It would take many other guilds to fold and combine to even have a chance to compete. Alas, they can't get along.

no they wont change the tw system.
no they don't care about long time players quitting, those players already farmed (most of thmem didn't use $$) everything even if they reroll they don't need to use $$$ to get the bests sets/skills etc etc cuz they already have high lvls to do it with, thats = no profit. they want NEW players to lvl...and to lvl fast thats why they brought the hypers they realize that the average player spend some cash getting at the end game. thats why we have cs/3bhs/80K hypers/pqs (yeah they know ppl fails at gv spcially noobs that oracle/lvl and hit 70 in like a month) and hard as shts 3-3 runs they want ppl to hit 95-100 and use rl money to buy gears/refines/pacs etc etc etc...after they spent the cash they can do sht cuz of the lack of high lvl content in this game....again...they dont care cuz you already spent money.
pw life cicle is: hit 40 in a few days (if u r a noob an like to fly around) get to 50 in 1 day get to 60 in a few weeks (maybe 2) do pq and hit 75 in like a week or 2 then hyper till 90+ feel pro, spent a few bucks get bored quit.
why am i here i still have some goals to complete with my archer andimwaitingforabettergame :X0 -

Nothing to do with gear...there are SO many with the gear etc to match Essence. Also, not all members have "amazing" gear and yet they survive and do very well...

It would make things more interesting, but I really don't see it happening under the new rules. Before, a faction could justify bidding, hoping to snipe an easy land in a triple attack and hold it for a week or two for profit. SG1 epitomized that approach. Now, for mirages it just isn't worth it.
The 10M a week may not have made that much difference to the economics of a 3 hour Essence vs. Spectral war, but to a smaller faction who was going in charmless anyway and dumping their entire personal savings into bidding and other TW expenses, that 10M could cover costs and work out to a small profit that helped the faction grow. That's gone now, and so are bids from those smaller factions.
There's just no way an SG1, YaKuZa, Rogaine, etc. can rationalize bidding against an Essence other than as a personal grudge match. It doesn't make economic sense, and when you're counting on either getting stomped or having the good fortune of a crystal walk, you're not even paying for fun. It's wasted money.0 -

Rosie I was not making an excuse for the rest of the factions for not being able to beat Essence.
I was only pointing out how well geared you guys are and added to your excellent experience it makes you a formadable foe for anyone.
Beleive you me, I am wearing orange and black cheerleaders outfit when it comes to TW time. Also holding one of the million "Marry me Rose" signs as well.
I think some people could compete with Essence but I believe they are all waiting in patience for Essence to get bored and eventually fold.tatuaje: grinding mobs and zhenning ???

GMs, if u want ppl to play on yor game, u gotta give em wat they wanted. not removing TW money becos of economical problems, there r other things u can change. and now, the economy is still the same, stuffs r not getting any cheaper. b:laugh n the worse thing is, typing these is a waste of time, i kno no actions will be taken by GMs after they read this. b:sad0

I doubt PWE cares about all the long time players quitting. Its sad and frustrating, but nothing you can do about it.
Its 10X players that doesn't cash shop much, they dont have to anymore since they have pretty everything besides maybe one more high refine or one more Nirvana piece. They can make enough coins in-game for most needed stuff without heavy cash shopping to. So why would the company care when they stop logging in.
LC has always been a very competitive server, specially in terms of PvP and TW. All the bigger guilds, well pretty much everything here has been built around TW. So removing the reward for owning land here hits way harder than on other servers. For guilds now, its nothing left to aim for besides random pvp at West Gate, no one cares about lands.
Ive seen so many videos from other servers TW lol. Its like 40 people running around without charms and pots, trying to get a few kills, all randomly attacking something for fun >.<
They would do it even if the reward was 1 pickaxe, they dont care if they loose, they just enjoy the fact that they get to attack other players without going pink name b:chuckle Its so different on LC.0 -

they just put some discounts on boutique.

Knowing humans, if they implement this, they probably is going to make the NPC attacks pretty easy to repel.
