    thats exactly the miracle i cant understand borsuc. For the blessing issue we both have the anniversary blessing atm. He explained that his dmg boost is a total of 70% with the 22% black voodoo which doesnt sound logical to me but the dmg he does is obvious. I dont think that he's telling me wrong figures because he doesnt have to show off with his char and he has a lvl 90+ wiz on Lost City as well but when we decided to start on DW with some other friends and me he chose a psy because he wanted something different. He told me that something is calculated seperatly thats why the 22% lead to that dramatic increase in dmg i'll ask him for details

    May be you test it at resitent to Water damage boss ?

    Psychic hit it with Earth spell Spirit Blast (mob weak to Earth damage), you with Water spell (Gush) or Fire spell (Pyrogram) and we see the difference.

    on water mobs both wiz and psy use earth skills so for wiz its stone rain and sandstorm here
    but no it wasnt wrong dmg type

    Can you ask him to not use black voodoo and see what happens and how high he hits? Same mob and situation etc... I'm kinda curious now.

    Here calculations of Psychic level 100:
    A bit bored gathering beans, a bit depressed seeing LF wiz for delta... well, lets compare the ultra super awesome DB with what a poor psy can offer....

    Assumptions:
    pure wiz and psy, lvl 100
    equipments:

    wizzie: dunno, tried all the tt99 gold, even the lunar, didnt get the base mag attack of the psy. what can I say, here is one possibility: http://pwcalc.ru/pwi/?char=1bbaca3eaa702e8b

    so,
    psy: matatck: 7928-9171, average 8549
    wiz: mattack: 7068-9171, average 8119
    well, whatever, lets assume that it's 8549, maybe i'm missing something.


    Action!
    so, the wizzie just stands and DB... lets say that he has lvl11 DB, 4800+basic every 3 sec!

    the poor psy has only lvl10 skills :(
    the psy does one aoe combo, sandburst blast,glacial shards, aqua cannnon, sandburst blast, glacial shards, lets toss an earth vector to be sure that the cooldowns will be ok...
    17 sec, lets make it 18 to be sure (and to compare easier with the wizzie!)

    we get 6 basic dmg, 1100% weapon attack and 19,761 elemental dmg, earth and water.
    from the wizzie we get 6 basic dmg and an awesome 28,800 fire dmg

    so, 1100% weapon dmg vs 9,039 fire dmg...
    the weapon dmg of the psy is 1049 (average) so 11,544 vs 9,039, psy wins

    but but but, i forgot about the elemental masteries of the wizzie, too bad that the psy has elemental masteries too.
    and guess what, it gets even better, cause we forgot the 22 attack levels from the black voodoo (25% if sage), that's another 22% more dmg for the poor psy that get rejected from deltas since the need an aoe dd </irony>

    Summary
    so, lets make a summary of what you get with a psy:
    1)MORE dmg than a lvl11 dragon breath even if the psy has lvl10 skills
    2)a dynamic constant aoe that can switch targets at will
    3)20% better heals for the tank
    4)a chance to get a sage sov on the tank (even more dmg!)
    5)a yummy aoe heal (chance to be a purify)
    6)if that silly psy draws aggro he can actually do something aka psy will and make himself immune, maybe switch to white (hey a nerfed DD is better than a 1k'ed wiz, no?)
    7)stuns, freezes, -50% accuracy debuffs
    8)a fresh fish to make some sushi if it fails

    Disclaimer:
    1)maybe i'm missing something that's really awesome in DB if so plz tell me
    2)so far I dont really have problems doing my deltas, i'm just annoyed from silly wcs that *need* a wizzie for wave 2 b:avoid

    According PWIwiki-Damage, Etacomb skill database, Etacomb character calculator, I calculated damage output from spells for

    Level 100

    Psychic and Wizard

    with same gear and stats (Intellect 471 for each of them, Weapon base attack 900, so Magic attack - same - 6000).


    Soulforce of psychic = 15000

    Black voodoo coefficient = 22% or 0,22

    Earth, Fire, Water mastery of Wizard coefficient = 20% or 0,2

    All skills level 10 (non - sage/devil)

    using formula
    skill damage = (base damage attack multiple*magic attack + skill weapon attack multiple * weapon attack + constant damage)*(1+coefficient of mastery)

    For example, for Gush:

    Gush damage=(1*6000+1*900+1379)*(1+0.2)=9926
    total time (cast and channel) is equal to 2.3 for Gush, so we have 3600 per second Gush damage.

    As result I got following tables:

    As soon as I used same formulas for Phychic and Wizard,
    I must say that my results are real and damage per second of psychic level 100 is 1,2 times more ...

    Edit:
    I just had seen that Psychic has
    Aqua Spirit and Earthen Spirit skills (20% more for Psychic's Earth and Water skills ) + 20% or 0.2, so really
    psychic level 100 has 1,4 times more powerful spells than Wizard.

    And if psychic use Soulburn yet ... 15000 per hit of level 100 psychic is something.

    P.S.

    I not included debuffs into calculation, like Undine strike or Soul of Retaliation.

    Im not a math genius but youve included Damage over time skills in the chart of yours and well they deal full damg over 15 secs soo the avg from them as well as the total damg they deal is wrong . Also from my own calculations (not saying there 100% correct ) bsed on your assumptions of magic attack and weapon attack

    the best dps skill for a SAGE psy will be , with 25 attack lvl cause of sage black woodo,
    Landslide = 17911( with sage mastery of 25% )

    for a SAGE wiz the best dps will come form
    Will of the Phoenix =15368
    soo the only good dps wiz skill for a lvl 100 sage wiz should be WOP .
    Also in 1v1 pvp the psy with a black wodoo on will take 11 % more damg, so in a way the wiz will be dealing 11% more damg furthermore wizies have barriers soo if a wiz is using earth barrier the earth psy skills wont hit him that hard ,hence the damg output for a psy against a wiz will always be low , but in pve psys will deal greater damg except in the case when a wiz sutras . Not to mention that spammable skills like gush have better damage in sage/ demon forms compared to sage/demon forms of spirit blast and aqua impact .Also the only reason why a psy will have more damg is because of Blackwodoo , other than that i dont ifnd any good reasons . My suggestion would be to simply remove all channel bonuses from psy gear while increasing that on wiz gear to create balance .

    Also the fact that psy have more damg than Wiz doesnt mean there better if they deal more damg than keep in mind that they take much much more damg as compared to the amountof damg they deal greater than wizzies.

    EDIT: i accidently highlighted sandburst blast instead of sand trap .

    Not so wrong, as desired.

    Still these numbers can't change dps difference between Psychic and Wizard.

    And I think, that DoTs must have same numbers as I pointed, because Wizard and Psychic cast them 1 time (hit one time) to produce above dph and dps.

    It is visible during attack of boss (period more or same as duration of DoT).
    ...
    And as I see from my table Will of the Phoenix and Gush inflict more damage per second than other spells of Wizard.

    Ok fine will of phoenix is nice the prob for pve use with this skill is the low attack range and neither psy nor wiz should stand right next to a boss to be able to get their attacks of so will of phoenix merely is a solo grinding skill/pvp skill.

    Saying that wiz barrier provides great earth resistance is true but when it comes to pvp the problem of the wiz vs the psy is not taking the dmg of the psy but being able to counterattack
    because the psy got more stuns / channeling slow + defense skills like soulburn where wiz cant attack at all. As a wiz there is only 1 try to kill a psychic --> having 2 sparks + sophoric whisper then using Blade Tempest and 1 hit the psychic. At least this works in a duel but under normal PvP conditions i doubt that this will work. And to be honest once a psychic has put his channeling debuff on a wiz you can prepare to click go to town. The only real way for a wiz to kill a psy is to hit the psy when he is not aware of whats happening so you can get 1-2 blank shots without the protections and even then your dmg has to be high enough to kill within 2 hits

    For PvE its just sad because the DD class wiz seems to make less dmg than any other class except barb and cleric. So i really pray that pwi will change something
