I'm no expert but I can offer some help. So here goes:

    1. I don't really use my genie, but from what I've heard, it doesn't make much difference which genie you have, as long as it's lucky (the higher the fraction the better)

    2. You should've done some quests with the elder and the 4 NPC's to gather resources with a pickaxe, upon completion you should have the books to learn lvl 1 of each craft skill. And you can learn all 4 and lvl up all 4. As for the best...well thats mainly personal preference, although I find the powders from apothecary crafting very useful.

    3. At lvl 30 theres a quest to get a free aerogear. In the mean time, try not to fall in.

    4. Venomancers get pets pretty early on (lvl 3 or something I think). All class pets can't attack (so I've not bothered with them, not sure of lvl requirements). Mounts are classed as pets and you can ride them at lower lvls.

    Hope that helped somewhat =P

Welcome to the wizzy way of life. b:chuckle

    Ok, your questions:
Your genie will become a great help to you later in the game. However currently, just let it look nice (do NOT give it any stat points untill you know what you want to do with it, you can't reset it and there are more genie skil effects than you can imagine).
For now I'd advise you to learn it second wind though. You can do this at your genie lvl 15. It is an instand genie heal, and can save your *** pritty often.
If you want to know more of your genie, look in the wizzy forum for threads on genies. There are alot of you use the search option, and I think there is a subsection for genies in 1 of the sticky guides.

The manufacter skills: At lower lvls, keeping this up is verry expencive. Also you do not NEED it, only if you want legendairy gear with your own name on it. If not importent, you can simply ask a facmate to make it for you

You will get a free (a quest taking 5 DQ31 items) at lvl 30. Untill than, you can teleport to arch (the elder has activated your teleport waypoint to it, it's possible you missed this).
Untill you get your fly mount you'll have to walk or teleport (you can only teleport to towns you have already been, and it costs money) Do note that the free fly mount is pritty damn slow, only slightly faster than walking (you can go afk and set auto path to your location though, make sure to fly at max hight to avoid flying monsters)

The pets your talking about are land mounts. Really fast and damn expencive. They can only be gotten through the boutique (costs irl money), or buy those mounts from other players (costs several million coins).
Other type of pets are all class pets (do nothing but look nice, also costs alot of money) and battle pets, battle pets are venomancer exclusive

to be honest.. i dont even know how i picked my genie..
i visited the watchers in EB and offered me one for 100 coins..

    anyway,
confused as to what i should do with my genie, i didnt spend any stat points to it..yet..

mine is sitll sub level 10... so i got some time to activate the 2nd wind skill.. :)

do all genies have the same skills?? only differ in affinities?? (based on what i read)

what does affinities do to your char?

i was thinking of replacing my genie with ZEAL (as it has magical affinity) does that make sense?

too many questions.. i know.. :(

    sorry...

The system randomly picks a genie for you the first time you get yours. After that you can make them yourself with 3 mirage celstones

All genies can get the same skils, only the starter skil is different.
The only difference is start skil (pritty worthless exept earthflame for zeal, which can lure individuel mobs the same way a veno can).

For now, stick with your starter genie. The zeal is only really good if you plan to start mag for your genie, or if you want to be able to lure (no need for you really, there is always someone in party's that can lure)

Your genie's stat points ONLY effect his own skils. In no way do they influence your charecter other than through skils itself (like second wind heals you) (that's why there is no reason to start untill you know what you want with your genie, you could only mess it up and resetting genie's is expencive).

What the genie atribute points do btw:
Str/Dex: They improve certain skill effects, making the skils stronger
Mag: Increases the rate at which your genie regens energy. Skils take energy
Vit: Increases your genie's max energy by 1 per point

allow me to ask you something since your mentioned the mirage stones..
ya know you pick a mirage stone as you combine 25 celstone frags..

but then i get rewards such human celstone, heaven celstone.. in the discription, it says, exchange the heaven celstone by a mirage celstone!!

is it one to one trade????

cause the merchant told me that i need 3 heaven 1 human to make one mirage.. :( am i being ripped off???

just dont bother with genies for now, let the shiny thing lvlup by itself next to you and think about it again when ur lvl40 or 50 ;) - learn your wizzie first ^-^

switching to a different base genie makes no sense at all for you

affinities are earth water fire wood metal, not the magic vit etc ;)
just play your char like as if there was no genie as you cant really afford the genie food on lvl20

you should not change the human heaven and earth celestones into mirage stones cause you will need them for 89 Culti

You only need 10 of each for your cultivation.

You can save them for your friends, but the ones that need them will tend to be the ones that would not want to pay you for them, so be sure they are good friends when you announce that you have extras.
