Which TT99 is better for mage?

One of my friends and I were having an argument about whether Inferno-Heaven(mag sword) or Fate Denial(glaive) is better for mage to use. Personally, I think the glaive is better for a class that relies on spike dmg to kill like mage. However she thinks that the sword is better because of teh good dmg range and hp boost. The dmg range is about, and the sword only gives about 70 more hp than the glaive, so I want experienced opinions on this.

If your going for spike, id go with crit. at 99 ill have around 13%-15% crit with rly trying that hard. I dont see a lot of mages using wheel, -6 chennel doesnt go as far as 3% crit does.

in endgame pvp with everyone having heavily refined nv armor nowadays crits is what usually kills more in my eyes. b:bye

    me and my friend(Shadowfire)
    had this same argument
now we are working on nirvana weapons
there is a reason he is going for the g13 sword instead of glaiveb:laugh

Sins are Scissors. Psychics are Rocks.
Archers, Venos, Barbs, Wizards, BMs, Mystics, Seekers are Paper.
    ...and Clerics are Mushrooms.
Paper beats Rock. Scissors beats Paper. Scissors also happens to beat Rock...until Rock gets 50k+ soulforce at which point Rock becomes an unstoppable killing machine that beats Paper... and would beat Scissors but it can't find Scissors, because Scissors are invisible.
So Scissors beat Paper and avoids Rock, and that is called BALANCE. -cheze

The way I think about it, adding crit gives the most benefit when you don't have much crit already (adding crit would be on an logarithmic curve), while you get the most benefit from adding channeling when you already have alot (could be explained as an exponential curve). I personally feel that crit should be your first priority, but if you can hit at least 10% crit w/o a weapon then you can consider channeling on your weapon instead of crit. Anyway it's ultimately up to personal preference.
