Unaddressed issue with Manifest Virtue

I searched for answers and through the forums and everyone has the same questions, does it stack with spark, how does it actually work or the maximum amount of MP/Magic attack you can obtain ect. The main issue with this skill is the wording and how it actually works when used.
When you use spark eruption it specifically says that it increases weapon damage by the percentage, meaning even though your magic attack says 6000-7200, the 950-1200 from your weapon is what is actually doubled and with the other calculations your magic attack turns into 8100-9800 magic attack damage. I will simply post the description from manifest virtue according to ecatomb: "Increases magic attack by (maximum mana/100)%. Lasts 30 seconds." If you read this, is makes is seem as though your true magic damage will actually increase which I am sure many will agree seems over powered for a wizard to gain 100-200% magic damage for 30 seconds but regardless, this is what the words imply.
I used the pw calculator and with a level 100 wizard, 55 str and 450 mag using only a shinrobansho, he/she has 9300 MP and I did not have Wellspring active, these are the results i found:
6016-7229 Normal
8138-9779 Single Spark
6911-8323 Manifest Virtue
Can someone tell me if this issue has been addressed, if tickets have been sent, if the GM's have notified the Devs to find out if this is an error of if this will be changed or if the text can actually specify that its only increasing weapon damage. I cannot believe that this skill is a "joke" as some people claim, this is an expensive skill and supposed to be high ranked and end game, there is no excuse for it to hit like a wet noodle. I would appreciate honest and factual answers, if this has been addressed, a link please cause I could not find it. If a GM has an answer, I would love to hear it. If there is something I missed, I would like to know about it. Thank you for your time and help.

is not really a bug or an issue, it's just yet another horribly designed skill that was thrown together without much thought.
the only thing that makes the skill halfway decent is that it lasts for 30 seconds.0 -
i agree with the fact that when compared to lvl 100 skills of other classes this skill has to be considered as pretty bad and there is a need for improvement
if the description would be correct the formula
(players maximum mana / 100 ) % should be added to players magic attack
im a pure build and got with maxed wellspring 12k mana by now so this should be
120% of magic attack value added accrding to the formula in my case. But i guess the skill is bugged and they dont talk about magic attack but weapon dmg which is a joke then
lets assume the formula of a player would give 100% of extra magic attack then according to the description it should be
Value before 4000-5000 magic attack
Value if it was magic attack 8000-10000
Value when it's weapon dmg 4400-5800 ( when weapon has 400-800)
With a good weapon and high mana a wiz would be able to 1 shot most of the other classes if this skill would calculate with the value from magic attack and not with weapon dmg and honestly i think wiz would deserve those 30s of power at lvl 100 because compared to other classes the wizard has nothing but its raw dmg. So i also cant understand why developers punish the wiz that hard and calculate with weapon dmg

wizards are overpowered in some mmos
they obviously tried to avoid this

I see, well my point is that a lot of time is going into many other things including making sure the Tide Born got their level 79 and 100 skills, I think it only makes sense that a real developer issue is fixed. So basically a ticket needs to be sent so suggest something about this. Frankly, I also believe wizards would be way to overpowered with double attack power for 30 seconds so I can see why this isn't what the skill does, but if this is the case then the wording should say such so no more confusion arises. Also, even if the skill can be altered to make more sense, such as doubling attack power for 10 seconds of doubling attack power at the cost of three spark to ensure wizards will not be overpowered and will not be able to Sutra+virtue and instantly kill everything in their sight.
Other input would be much appreciated, maybe suggestions or opinions on a replacement skill or a fix for this skill in general. Not saying this will get done, or even after I send a ticket that I will even be heard fully or acknowledged, but maybe we can do something about this if we politely and in an organized fashion explain how disgruntled some people are over this skill and how the wording makes this skill a financial trap and a big disappointment. Or am I crazy to think this is really a problem to be addressed. Anyway, thank you all for helping me out, I will send a ticket and update the post with what was said, thank you all.
I find it odd how people will attempt to vote the TB to be removed from the game among other petty issues, but two years has passed by and I can't find enough protesting about this skill.0 -

And besides the most OP classes are always the ones who can stealth in games.0 -

when i try to 1shot someone i use demonspark +ult wich is 3+2 sparks, if i was sage i would use sutra ..maybe
that skill would be just as useless if it had 3 spark requirement for 10 secs hence demon/sage spark are double damage for 15 seconds
i want this in place!:
Awaken Level 1
Mana 1000
Cast Instant
Cooldown 15 minutes
Weapon Any
Requisite Cultivation Celestial Sage/Demon
Use all one's energy to recharge all Spark instantly.
(Archer lvl100-skill)

For making certain lvl100 skills so unattractive the game fails (1) in the aspect of making players desire these skills thus playing until 100 to get them and (2) spending millions of coins and/or cash shopping in order to achieve the goal.
So changing certain skills (and I don't mean only Manifeest Virtue) may seem an obvious choice to make several players happy and to make more income but on the other hand any change of game balance leads to QQ and more and more players quitting. Scaling the gains and losses is a lot harder than making the changes happen.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

I must ask, which other level 100 skill is that unattractive for other classes? I don't think any of them get one as big a fail as Manifest Virtue (all because of the misleading words in its description). I have heard complaints over "Seal of the Gods", one of the clerics level 100 skills but even it has its place in PK/TW for it can put a single player into stasis mode, though not taking damage it still immobilizes and disables them which can be usefull for BM/Archer/Cleric classes. Plus if you don't PK/TW and see no use for this skill, do not get it until you can use it and feel like it will be worth its cost. Manifest Virtue doesn't have a place or use anywhere, only to use when its long 5 minute cooldown has relieved it just for damage longer then a single spark will provide but for far less of that damage.
One thing I will note on, and this is personal opinion, but it seems like all of the level 79/100 skills were added for the purpose of PK'ing and most likely to spice the game up for later levels since there is very little to look forward to after level 59 skills except turning demons and buffing these skills up again. Many of these skills seem to have PvP type of debuffs and effects such as magic and chi draining or defensive skills. But again, what place does Manifest Virtue have with the 75% reduction in damage?
Question: I would assume this would be under a different enchantment as it has to factor in the % of mp to magic attack unlike other buffs, but just to clarify, this buff will only counter spark eruption damage increase and will not interfere with cleric magic attack buff, correct?0 -
I expect that I would use manifest virtue if I needed dps on a boss, and I wanted to build chi also.
But I have not gotten any 100 skills yet.0
