Extra mouse buttons?

As far as I understand there is no way for the game to let me set mouse button 4 as a hotkey, so I have remapped my mouse to a keyboard key like K. When I go into the game when I get K on the keyboard it opens the menu when I hit the new mouse button that is K in the game it does nothing.

I have tried the new key assignment on a document and other places and when I click the mouse it makes the letter K.

Any advice for how to get this to work in this game?

    Using non-default mice that aren't the standard 2 button with scroll wheel, we can't promise you that re-mapping anything to a programmable mouse will work.

    You can try running the mouse controller software to run as Admin, update its drivers, etc.
    Do you need help learning about patching the game, installing it, changing antivirus/firewall settings, changing network settings, learn how to use a computer, keeping your PC maintained and more?
