IS it poss for a wizzy to kill a staunch worm? ive been trying for like 30 min or more and cant get one.. I can do it on veno and cleric i know bms and barbs can same with archers.
Whats the secret? I can not belive PW set up so the only char in game that cant do the quest is a wizzy.b:angry

Actually, psychics have a hard time with them too. b:surrender

The simple solution is to squad up with a nice veno who training her air pet(s) on them and you'll be set in no time. Most venos don't mind helping out the wizzies and psys this way. (Yay venos!)

Blade Tempest is the 59 fire ulti, right? The quest comes at level 45 so wizs most likely don't have that skill by the time they do the quest.

But Blade Tempest is a level 59 skill, and the Staunch Worm quest is level 40.

For what it's worth, I got my psychic's genie the Celestial Sword skill, which does physical damage, specifically to deal with Elemental Immune and Increased Magic Resistance mobs, so that could help as well.

Took me about half an hour to kill 5 mobs. I went about it the old fashioned way and whacked with my magic sword. Yeahhhhh :D

Was lucky enough to be fairly high leveled when the tideborn got released, so i just used blade tempest. Without that though these would be very annoying.

Although at lvl 45 I was an LA wizard, so if you're an LA build you can just get a low level bow and at least have a decent chance of hitting them. Now, my character could barely shoot a boss the size of swordtamer if i used a bow lol.

Hitting these worms as a wiz or psy can be a pain, you only do afew points of damage, then they, kite, kite, kite away, sometimes bug and disapear. If you have free points on your genie available for affinity, get a genie skill that does phys damage, I used a phys AOE, against these worms, you will need to use it like 10 times on a group of them, with luck though, within 10 minutes you can kill the worms though. Dont remember the genie skill I used though, does like 33 phys damage to them, damage is greatly reduced on them being they are level 100 when you do this quest. Skill normally did like 900 something to normal mobs if I got it calculated right. Plus the skill wipes most of your genies energy away which takes time to recharge, why it may take 10 minutes or more, so try and find a group of em, hit em with genie, they will flee away, but then retreat back, but not reset HP. Once you get energy again, blast em again, rinse and repeat. Stay still when they flee!!! They will return in about a minute... When I did this quest at 40 there was a veno in the area, but she was AFK. There was also false stuff going on, that these worms could kill you, blah blah blah, in reality, they are a pain to kill, but dont fight back, they are like Kun Kun, but kite faster and farther, tend to bug and just vanish, and have 300HP instead of 100HP like Kun Kun. They also can fly, and had afew that before I used genie, flew inside the mushrooms where I could not hit them... Bleh. Mobs in this game that can fly through stuff players cant...

Try and whack these with a soul sphere like I originally tried, after 30 minutes, only managed to kill one. If you cant get help, you do have a genie, which has phys damage abilities...

Everything has its beginnings, but it doesn't start at one. It starts long before that... The world is born From zero. The moment zero becomes one is the moment the world springs to life. One becomes 2. 2 becomes 10. 10 becomes 100. taking it all back to one solves nothing. so long as zero remains... One.. Will eventually grow to 100 again.
