Anni Faxhion Gift gender question

Regarding the Anni Fashion Gift. If you highest character is a female but you transfer the box via Account Stash to a male character, and the male character opens it, which fashion will it be? Is the gender of fashion based on the gender of the character that recieved it or is the fashion based on the gender of the character that opens box?

I would like to send this to my barbarian but don't want to have male character stuck with female fashion for a big waste if gender fashion is based on highest character.
