I do understand there's a reason for the sticky, but we all know no one looks in there... Yeah, most of the threads were just flaming and convos going off topic, but i feel the comunity should have at least a thread or two in which to vent, the subject isn't likely going away and some of the posted threads, like Solandri's, were legitimate points on which to start discussions on a civil manner. This QQing about the QQing posting i know to be usually unproductive, and while i do respect the fact that there are rules to be enforced, i think it would be beneficial to leave at least a couple standing.

b:sad And i'm not complaining about your shutting down the thread we were posting vids in.

So, respectfully and in the understanding we sometimes don't make your job easy at all, could we have room to discuss this? Please? b:thanks

you wanna qq, flame, praise, moan, you can do it in the stickied thread..

if the mods/gms create a sticky, that is the only place discussion of a subject should occur - such has been the case for a while now - any other threads almost always get closed. Can't see what is so unclear about that.

And night - you post to flame bait.. is that bannable?

    lolumad.

I don't think the OP was confused about the rules. Usually the people who break the rules here are not confused about them. They just don't agree with them and hate being ignored by a company that they potentially paid money to.

I'm just saying convos tend to become disconnected and unmanageable when stickied. They get buried... Now, i wouldn't go as far as to call ths censorship, personally i do believe i've been mostly given full freedom to express myself. But leaving things unresolved does tend to itself create greater issues.

I would use the analogy to irl police work, most cops don't usually arrest people for small violations, but simply try to keep things under control and safe for everyone. Sometimes they do look the other way on small breaches out of common sense. There are rules against alcohol consumption outside homes or licensed establishments for instance, but on some scenarios (mardi gras, small secluded beaches, people quietly walking from one home to another on a residential area) it would be counterproductive to enforce them and would violate the higher principle of law and order the police are meant to represent.

Same thing could apply here in my opinion, there's a sticky in order to prevent the forums being flooded with separate threads dealing with the same issue, and that others get derailed by this. But allowing room for a civil discussion in a thread or two does not violate the general spirit of the rules and may actually help their enforcement by providing an oprotunity for people to express themselves.

There is a thread already, the already mentioned sticky in fact. Please keep it to that thread.
