You do realize it was a troll? Hmm... no, I guess that wasn't glaringly apparent enough for you.

I have a Panda, Black Raptor, Midnight, Anniversary Mount, 2 DQ horses and I'll be getting the Sage Tiger in two more weeks of the Celestial Tiger event. I have 3 alts. lol, I also have a mount for my vendor shop.

I'm pretty sure if they deleted the item from everyone's inventory I wouldn't really care. b:bye

You do realize there are people like me who have low level characters with no coins to buy a mount? We are actually annoyed about this.

And why should PWE care about what you have to say? You don't put food on their table. You could spent $15 to get one of the best mounts in game or spend $40 to buy one from cash shop...your choice...

Annoyed at what? Is PWI making you spend money to use the mount? Of course not.

Does the Anniversary Mount require a Perfect Iron Hammer to hatch? Of course not.

Does it require you to spend any money at all to ride? Of course not.

    Few things:

People not getting Michael was mocking the many whiners on the forums should just shut up. Even stupid people may have opinions, but the opinions are stupid. Think about it, there's a reason stupid people are called stupid.

Did no one else pick up on the main counter-arguer stating that they currently play on Raging Tide? That makes his entire point a non-issue, as PWI has NEVER allowed cross-server swaps. Even last time when they did the mount swap, which was a majorly smaller percent of those who currently have it, they did not allow cross-server changes. The servers that got these free mounts had already gone through at least a year where they would have spent on mounts if they were going to. That's why they have it as an anniversary prize: they have already made the money off of normal mounts in game anyways.

Now if justing is arguing he should be able to freely swap a mount around on a server he makes it seem he doesn't even play on anymore because of the "lame TW", then that is just being stupidly argumentative. If he is thinking he can get it swapped from one server to another because his over-all account is old enough; it was never allowed anyways, so stop complaining about it.

so you been playing for a year and cant afford the 6-7 mil for an account stash.........WTF??
In addition to that, you DONT HAVE TO **** BUY THE DAM STONE, the purpose of the mount was to go on your HIGHEST CHACTER and act as a HIGHEST SPEED MOUNT, thats what it was designed to do, now is it on ur highest chacter ? yes. is it a max speed mount? yes. pwi did EXACTLY what it said it would do, no more no less. now if u want to have ADDITONAL use for it, u have to pay, its like buyin an xbox then payin extra for xbox live. u can either just play the xbox w/o gettin live (usin the mount on ur chacter) or pay the extra coin/money to get live and play online (buyin an account stash for 6-7 mil so u can trasnfer it onto a chacter it wasnt suppose to be on the first place)

PWI did exactly what it said it would do, and i personly thank them for the mount (and fyi, never spent any real life money on this game so far)

also to ppl complaining about last year whrre they exchanged mounts via tickets, there was NO ACCOUNT STASH LAST YEAR AND PERFECT WORLD'S POP HAS DBLED SINCE THEN u think they have the time to transfer hundreds of thousands of mounts? lol

and sry to anyone who thinks this is a QQ thread, but god dam X.X human stupidity is just......wow....
well when ur LA psy has same wep grade and refine as ur pure AA wiz, hits as high per shot, has faster dps, and has 2x the crit %, time to retire the wiz............

This thread is getting more and more interesting b:chuckle. But anyway I think what justin was trying to say from the beginning is that PW is just simply using this particular year as way to advertise the boutique. For example they give you the mount free(sounds fair enough), but the downside to it is that if you want it on a specific account(and PW is smart enough to realize this),you will have to charge Zen in order to do it. I am not saying PW is wrong in doing this as I think it is a good business strategy. But basically I think that is what Justin meantb:shutup(apologies if I offend anyone with this postb:surrender).

Their main basis for complaining for the most part is that it was transferred last year.

Thing is, there wasn't all that many people at the time playing who actually got the mount. LC and HT had a greater amount of course, and Sanctuary had some. But the larger percentage even back then did not get the mount for not having been created early enough yet. Since they didn't have much going on, and there wasn't that big of a workload, they were nice and allowed the mounts to swap around. The fact that there was no other way to change it made it a nice gesture.

Now we have all those people from last time, roughly 2 months of new players, and an entire extra year of players who have enlarged the servers to double the previous amount. This isn't even counting the 7 times larger time span being covered per server as well. The fact that they are also busy on other things, and there is a an existing mechanism to swap it around, makes the complainers seem really petty and ludicrous.

They were worked up enough to get on the forum, and endlessly ***** about it to show how much it means. Yet they don't even play the game enough to lvl past 2X or farm enough coin to actually get the stash stone? It's just so senseless people will mock it. Seriously, what part of this does not sound stupid?

"I really like the game and am an important part of the game that my voice should be heard. I want things done my way, in case I ever decide to actually play the game."

They are simply a non-factor. What happens when they try to get their gear later levels? Yet more pointless whining for things that cost much more.

Yes, that's why people are upset.

It's not just smart business sense. It's just practical.

Nobody has actually considered what a GM actually has to do to transfer each item individually. They don't care. They just want it to magically disappear from one character and suddenly appear on another. They don't realize what actually has to be done, hell I don't, but I know it's surely more complicated than hitting a couple of buttons and mouse clicks. And they're expected to do this thousands of times over and over?

Sorry I want my lawn mowed. I don't expect the gardener to sit there and cut each strand of grass by hand with a pair of scissors if he doesn't have a lawn mower to do the job.

With this task, there is no easily automated procedure. They need to access your account, go to one character, remove the item, go to your other character, add the item... I just can't tell you the difficult and time involved to do all these steps, but I can guarantee you it has to be done manually, for each one. So it's not much different than asking your gardener to mow your lawn with a pair of scissors. It's just not practical since there is a much easier solution that doesn't put undue burden on them.

Well I dont think it is as hard as you are making it sound. For example they have written a very simple program that upon entering the Anni page the program checks for your highest level char and then automatically sends it there.I dont believe that program takes alot of work to make(I have some programming knowledge). So based on that theory I doubt it would be much harder to implement the same feature to choose which character to send the mount to. If you look at the Jones Blessing page it does exactly that. You can choose which character to send the blessing to.

But as for the A.S.S(@justin) well I would recommend just buying it if you want the mount on a different character. If you don't have the money I am really sorry for you.

They even told us last time they had to change it one by one in that manner. '

They can't implement something to let you choose which character it goes to, because it's already been done. If they implemented it now, do you know how much bishing would happen for everyone who already got it on their highest character, but want it on another?

Without a time machine, they can not under any reasonable circumstance allow people to choose which character gets the reward for this anniversary. It is done and gone. Which again is why all these pointless complaints are a waste of space. Because even the most rational fix is unworkable. It is simply too late, and making posts of "well they should have done it this way" is just more needlessly pointless spam.

You apparently haven't given your response any real thought. Sure, having the items sent out isn't all that difficult. Once the person receives the item.. where is it? In their mail box, in their inventory, in their pet back, in their bank?

So it needs to be found and then removed. I find it hard to believe that the GM interface is all that much different than the client we use, with perhaps a console and an extra menu or two. So they need to access your records, remove the item, then place it on some other character you have on the same account.

Sure, doing one isn't all that time consuming... probably takes a minute or two at most. Imagine having to do 1000 of them, or 10,000 of them, or with the amount of mounts that were given away this time... perhaps even more. You get the picture yet?

This is all done manually. Instead of working on their other duties, they would be bound to doing this for weeks.... Last time, apparently a month wasn't even long enough to get them done. Sure, the cutoff date was a month, but people who submitted tickets to do this relatively soon after didn't get their mounts transferred for weeks or at all.

The job is tedious and time consuming... with the amount of mounts they released this year compared to last, it would be virtual suicide to offer this service again.

Yes, it would be tedious to move all the mounts.... after the fact. But what some people were talking about was making an interface so you could choose where to send the mount, therefore requiring no GM interaction.

Of course I know better than to expect, hope, or even ask for such an obvious feature. I learned a long time ago how horrible this company really is. But some people here are unaware of the dead status of the game or still have hope for it, and they would like their useless mount on a specific character.
