55000 is maximum

On private server forum was interesting thread. Some1 try damages with different P.def resistances.
Conclusion is this. 55000 p.def/m.def=border=90% damage reduction. Beyond this border even with 160000 p.def The damage reduction is still same - 90%. This should be the same for all resistances m.def included. Interesting. You can have 1M resistance but damage reduction will be same. You cannot have more than 90% damage reduction regardless of amount of resistance.

    You don't need a pserver for this... Elemental Shell on an archer vs mage tells you more than enough lol.

    I think 90% is achieved at 36k or something, I remember using it on an EA and they said they went to 36k defenses and 90%, then I use on myself and 72k and still 90%.


    Too bad we didn't get a 1000% pdef skill for 4 seconds...

    Bm buddha's guard will do that. Dont know any with it though.
    Wonder how set shards stack at 90% resistance.

    I have now 30K p.def and reduction is 83%. So 37K is too low for 90%. I think this 55K will be +- accurate.

    Paper beats Rock. Scissors beats Paper. Scissors also happens to beat Rock...until Rock gets 50k+ soulforce at which point Rock becomes an unstoppable killing machine that beats Paper... and would beat Scissors but it can't find Scissors, because Scissors are invisible.
    So Scissors beat Paper and avoids Rock, and that is called BALANCE. -cheze

    55k is for lvl 150
    so 37k should be for lvl 105
