Can't create new character still

i'm trying to make a new character on Sanctuary and i'm still getting the server network error, i've been trying since yesterday morning. i read the post saying it was fixed, but i'm still getting the error, so any assistance would be appreciated!

    The one by darthpanda says it's fixed and has been closed and the other one doesn't apply since i don't have 8 chars, and i checked both before you posted perhaps next time you can actually try helping.

    Which server?
    Do you need help learning about patching the game, installing it, changing antivirus/firewall settings, changing network settings, learn how to use a computer, keeping your PC maintained and more?

    are there always problem in perfect world?
    just started playing for 2 days and there are so many problem
    1. account banned for no reaons and cant even make a new character

    accounts dont get banned for no reason - just sometimes reasons you don't understand

    and to the OP I was helping - just cos you didnt like the form the help took doesnt make it invalid.

    There's a problem with the name database on the Heavens Tear, Archosaur, and Sanctuary servers. Please see the "Updated Can't create character - Server Network Error" thread and post any questions or comments there.

    From what I've seen it looks like they can fix the problem temporarily, but then it breaks again. Right now I'd guess they're looking for a more permanent solution.
