Guide : How NOT to do TT1-1

Hey guys,

I think it's time for another guide about 'How NOT to'.

The time has come. I finally lvled up enough to get my butt in TT. But I needed a squad. A few PMs to a friend and the squad was gathered. After a few more minutes we were in TT. Time to get in. Squad options and stuff ... Er, what is Ultimate Substance ? Guys ? $%$%^$%$@#$@#%#$^$^%%^&*

I was lucky one of the guys had Ultimate Substance and he gave it to me so the run can begin. We got in, killed a few mobs and then something really scary was standing in front of me - Chintien : Chronol. My reaction was 'WTF?!?!?!?!!??!!?!?'. Plus we didn't had a barb and I felt that everyone is looking at me ... Hey guys Ima blademaster, not a barb!!!!!Ok ok, I`ll try to tank it ... Everything was well, the cleric was doing her job really good, until the archer and the psychic decided to play games with me. Too bad, they suffered.

The arched had to release body and come back as quick as possible.

Now the psychic needed a rez, but how is this going to happen ?! If the cleric stops healing me for a sec I`ll meet the gods really quick. The only thing I read in the squad chat was - 'Grim spam whatever you have, and run!'
Run ? Aw, I`m good at this b:chuckle Run, run, run, run. Damn, this guy is quick b:shocked I was running in a circle until everyone were on their feet. Time to get this guy. Thanks to my amazing damage of 350 per hit the boss died in around 30 mins lol. I even had a time for a few more screens

    The boss was dead. We were alive. Mission - accomplished. Wait, what ?! Another boss ?!! We are not able to kill him ? Are you sure ? C'mon guys, we must try, now when I received a congratz

    Some more mobs, but nothing was in condition to ruin my feeling that we will kill the next boss. Yes, we will kill it guys, cmon !!!! Cmon guys lets ki..... Is this the boss ? Sorry, my mom calls me. Cya later.
    Are you crazy, how am I supposed to tank this ?! Oh, he is psy attack ? Cool, then we can make it.

    The tactic was to rush to him, then run back and get in BB range. After Marrow Psychical, magic resists lowered with 60 %, psy def increased with 60%. I`m unstoppable !!!!!!!!!! Run towards him, then quick turn and run back. 3982 hit. I died. Who said he was psy attack ? Rezed. Another try, but this I ain't running back. Run towards him, yay psy attack !!!!!!! 1300 per hit, pretty nice the cleric is cool.
    1300, 1300, 1300, 3900 .... What the f*ck ?!?!?!!? This guy is changing the way he attacks. Dead again. Rest of the squad tried to escape. Well the cleric died with me, true brother in arms, while the archer, the psy and the veno tried to ran away. 30 secs later - whole squad dead. Ok, we will try again, but in single mode.
    Everything was easy w00t. Time to gather the boxes and get out full with matts, mwhahaha we made it. Plus I became a real pro on the traps, after dying in one ... We made it to the bottom, but instead of boxes everything I saw was this guy again. NUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU. Guys, come down here, there are no boxes, there is a one big, ugly, disgusting, fat, dangerous boss. The squad was full again. Revenge time. Prepare to meet my hammers sucka. Sprint towards, jump in mid air, front flip, hammers flying towards the boss with the power of breaking the ground, and amazing hit with 400 dmg. WE ROCK !!!!!!!!

    The boss got what he deserved. It was time for us to leave as victorious. We did our job. Without a single dead. Well without a single dead for ... forget about it. And here are few things I learned after this TT run


    Archer - Meaningless Suicider (since he tried to rush through one of the traps hehe)
    Assassin - Invisible Suicider (maybe one of the most dangerous suiciders ever. You can't see him, but he can see you. A second later KABOOM)
    Barbarian - Tough Suicider (this kind of suiciders are dying really slow during the suicide)
    Blademaster - Just a Suicider (he just rush in ... and die)
    Cleric - Optimistic Suicider (the clerics are hoping that they wont suicide and they are trying to evade this with multiply heals, but in the end ... they just suicide)
    Psychic - Bomb Suicider (they just get near the target, cast some spell which makes a big boom, and a second later the target is right next to them, and they die .... )
    Venomancer - Multi Suicider (Venos are counting on more lifetime using a moving bomb around the place. But sometimes the bomb dies/KA-BOOOOOOM/being defused and then you just see a veno on a run, or if the mob is ranged you just see a dead veno)
    Wizard - Squishy Suicider (this kind suiciders are the coolest one. They die in the struggle of getting near the mobs)

    PS : This is thread is only for the fun, no name n shame and such stuff. Everyone in the squad you see on the SS is amazing person and I`m happy that I know them. I hope you will enjoy this one, because I lost 1 hour in typing ****, so appreciate it !!!!! Or become a suicider.

    how can u **** up 1-1 its the easiest, and for a reason too. bosses arent hard, and the mobs are weak. only fails could really **** it up right now.

    In addition to a phys AOE, Drummer periodically casts a metal attack. It's best to have someone (barb, earthquake genie) cancel those. But I suppose you figured that out eventually. ;)

    Glad to see you had fun, despite the deaths. IMO, TT should give you a sense of accomplishment for completing it and earning mats for gear. It does become a bit more of a nuisance in the higher stages though, since you need so many more mats.

    I'm with Eoria. It's not a "guide" (even though the title does say guide), it's a story of his experience with the instance. He posted a similar one about FB51 not that long ago.

    Whoa, I thought that nobody saw this thread. Deresh, thanks for the support, I`m doing my best b:thanks And yes, this is not a guide at all and that's why this thread is in this forum section. It's just a thread for fun. The problem is that now I`m feeling an urge to go to instances and fail, so I can take SS b:chuckle

    TT in general can be a pain... although TT 1-1's are pretty simplistic, with a new, or inexperienced squad, they can be pretty brutal... I remember them taking a few hours when I used to go with lower squads... Horrible times. lol b:surrender

    I find it much more funny to go in 'unexplored' areas with not so strong squads and have fun b:chuckle
    This is the best way to learn what you should do, what skills you should use and when instead of just running behind the 9x's and waiting for them to do all the job. But thanks tho b:victory
