Archer factions?

Hmmm i suppose that this sort of can apply to all classes, but since i'm an archer.....*shrugs*

Anyway are there any factions that specifically is for archers? or any class for that matter? do you think its possible for a faction to consist of only ONE class? If so which one do you guys feel would be the most effective (powerful)? Personally I feel an all cleric faction would most likely be. But that's my opinion and i want yours.

    I don't see why you'd limit faction members to one class since one of the benefits of a faction is to be able to find parties easier. Not much of a squad if everyone is the same class, no?

    Tis not possible. Hell, an attempt to make this idea a reality might rip a hole in the univese or something. Just doesn't work.

    Which of these do you think we'd win?

    80 archers vs 80 clerics
    80 archers vs 80 BMs
    80 archers vs 80 Barbs
    80 archers vs 80 Wiz
    80 archers vs 80 Psychics
    80 archers vs 80 Venos
    80 archers vs 80 Assassins


    I'm not really sure what would be the most challenging. Not having buffs really sucks but archers are exceptionally well at assist attacking and being able to switch targets quickly.

    This could be a good GD topic.

    I think BMs would be the biggest problem, as they have catapult-pulling ability as well as AoE stuns and debuffs. Wizards will hit hard but are easy to drop and thus not challenging catapult pulling material...Barbs simply cannot dish out enough damage over long periods of time. Clerics, despite having better survivability, will not kill fast enough if they chose to heal instead, and purge bows would break ironheart easily. Assassins....are melee and a few people using detection pots would be the end of them. Venos aren't that scary...their nixes used to be a pain, but if we're talking the best geared players on all the servers I dont think bleed will make much of a dent. However, a heavy armored veno might be a good candidate for catapult pulling. Psychics would be the weakest en masse, in my opinion, since they neither hit as hard as wizards nor can they take many hits.

    You would still need your Cleric (revive),Barb and Veno.

    80 sins would be just lol. I can imagine all of them go into stealth mode and the opponent just go : wtf?

    Well, this is why 80 people of the same class would not work well at all. If you have 80 clerics, you can heal fine, or if you have barb pullers, fine, but 80 enemy DDs will be shoving arrows up your **** every pixel of the way and there's not much you can do about it without DDs of your own.

    It's a fun idea though.
