FB quest?

hey im level 15 atm and i've been reading a lot in preparation for the fb quest, i just dont get a few things though.
When im doing the quest do i use my tab at the end or the beginning? Is there a difference? Also if i use at the beginning does that mean i can skip the dungeon part completely?
Also apparently u can go to the dungeon anytime you want so whats different bout doing it in a quest and why would people help me?
Also how does the loot system work if i'm in a squad of people and who does the kill register to, the person who does most damage or person who deals final blow?

No difference. Only important thing is that you are the party leader, and that you DO use the tab. But then, higher levels probably won't start killing the boss until you've activated the tab.

Also make sure that you actually have the quest to kill the boss. FB19 starts with you having to kill 8 monsters each of 2 types (or even three types? Don't remember for sure), THEN you get the quest to kill the boss. Don't use the tab unless you have that quest. If you didn't do the preqreq quest, make sure your party doesn't just run past everything.

No. See above for the 2*8 monsters. If you already have these, you could "wine" the dungeon which will remove most non-bosses.

For you, your quest will give you a reward afterwards. For FB19, it's a nice weapon.

For the others, that's where the Tab comes in. It activates a "Call of Duty" quest for the boss, which will give them a reward too. Even if they are higher level. Haven't been able to do a lot of these, though, so I don't know how worthwhile the reward is.

Not sure. I think when you create a party you can choose between random distribution and "whoever picks it up".

You can use your tab at the beginning or at the end (namely when you get to the room with the boss in it). Both are just fine. If you use it in the beginning, you will have your instance counter start then. Using it at beginning does not mean that you just skip to the boss. You will still have to make your way there.

You can go through the dungeon anytime you like with a squad. But doing it with someone in the party that is doing it as a fb quest with their tab will allow all the members to get some reputation and experience as well. This is also where the incentive comes in for the higher level players (or anyone) to help you with it. Apart from the fun of doing it or the challenge.

You can make it loot picked up be distributed randomly or by whomever picks it up. Press t to open the squad window. The party leader should be able to change which way that goes.

The everyone in the party should get credit for the kill.
