Is Fuzzy alone in this, or since maint this week, has the rubber banding increased by a factor of 10?

    You are not alone. There have been plenty of reports about that. Once I rubberbanded like 15 times after dropping from like three meters... Never happened to me like that before the patch.

    I rubberbaned about 30 times trying to jump down from one of those towers by Sundown Town.

    lmao, we have been having the rubber-band effect since over a year ago since that genie patch. Yeah, it has gotten way worse since this recent patch. Since pwi does not fix major bugs at all, the only solution is to roll the whole game back to the time before that genie patch...b:laugh

    I saw this too fuzzy and when i mentioned it to some friends in game they talked like it was never gone. but it was gone for me for quite some time until after this update it suddenly started again.

    Couple days ago I landed on a Khatru pup. Fail. I clicked ahead to get off, went downstairs to get some water, came back, was still rubber banding. I'm curious to know the cause of this...what exactly is in the script which does this? Insert loop when player tries to get off a NPC?

    Allow me to explain.

    After finishing my pint of Chocolate Fudge Brownie Ice Cream, I was ready to play again. I logged back in and was ready to do a cube run, but my hands were quite sticky from the ice cream. As a Psy, you definitely can't have your soulsphere sticking to your hand or you won't be able to cast spells properly. So, before tackling the cube, I rubbed off the sticky ice cream on the back of the Khatru pup.

    @Fuzzy: Yep it's bad and I mean real bad now. The only solution I've come up with is to jump back on the flying mount and climb straight up.

    Rubber-banding increased like 100 fold with this update like damn I get rubber-banded for just running near a wall -.- and I can't fly in a instance to stop it........

    Yup. Trying to get off the top of an NPC's head is like some perverse and never-ending dance ritual. I just sat and watched one time to see how long it would continue - after two minutes I couldn't take it anymore. I had to hop on my flying mount to stop the madness. It sucks massively hard when it happens in an instance. Team mates dieing all around you and your the cleric or tank.
