Why couldn't we name our genies?

My brother asked me, why we can't name our genies?
It's a very good idea... what do you think about it?

    It would be pretty pointless since genies don't have a name tag and you can't select them either.

    And it would be really annoying if they did.

    Yeah good idea - let's clutter up the screen even more than it already is. There's no benefit from naming genies, so no from me.
