Server question.

So I wasn't aware that the "east' and 'west' were for time zones. being on the East timezone and picking Heaven's Tear, this doesn't really go together (was wondering why no one was online when I'm up here...) and I did'nt realize this til now.

My main is only on lvl 12 (mainly cause it's my first time playing so I've been sort of taking my time with it xD) and I've been at the game for a few days; I'm debating on trying a East server, but I know the characters don't carry over though servers. Should I start over on another server for Eastern time? Does it make it alot easier and more populated w/o being overpopulated? Would picking a different server delete the 2 characters (really only worked with one so far) that I already have?

Also fi I decide to go to a east server, any one in particular I should go for? <.<

Sorry if this is a newbish question, but I'd rather know what to do now than lvl my character up alot and then realize I should have switched or vice versa. xD

I can't really help you decide but I can tell you level 12 is nothing. Especially this time round you can hit level 12 in an hour if you tried.

Ah ok, thanks; I figured lvl 12 wasn't too high, I was learning controls and stuff at the same time so I suppose I could run it faster a 2nd time. xD

Yeah, if you're East Coast it's probably better for you to pick a server on the East Coast.

First of all, it means better ping times, which means faster responses in-game.

Second of all, it means that the times for events on the server are probably better for you (i.e. 8 PM - 9 PM weekly event start times instead of 11 PM - midnight weekly event start times.)

Also, at level 12, starting a new character is no big deal.

Finally, there's a much better chance of meeting others who happen to be in your area if you ever want to meet them in real life.

As for which East Coast server:

Harshlands - This is an East Coast PvP server. If you want to be in PvP mode from 30+, this is the server you'd choose.

Dreamweaver - This is an East Coast PvE server. This is the older and more populated PvE server. (This is the server I'm on, but since I haven't used the other servers I have no basis for comparison. I like it though.)

Raging Tide - This is an East Coast PvE server. This is the newer and somewhat less populated PvE server.

Choose from those three depending on whether you want PvP or PvE, and if you want a more or less crowded server.

Starting a new character on a different server doesn't delete other characters, so don't worry about that.
