huge graphics glitches

I thought my graphics card was frying up but I asked my faction and some others were experiencing the same things since the last 2 patches. My game will halt for several seconds and then come back to life looking a smeared graphical glitch. Is this happening to anyone else???

There's also an enormous bunny-eared shaped shadow following my blademaster around and her genie has bright green rectangles falling off it.

    Have you tried

    1) Verifying files
    2) Uninstall

    Go to your program files and delete the Perfect World International folder (to make sure it's 100% gone) and then re-installing.

    3) Are the graphic settings of your game too high for your system to manage?

    Haven't tried to verify files or uninstall. I guess I'll do that. Not sure how to verify files though. Graphics settings have been maxed on this system for the last couple years, this issue is new and I haven't changed anything hardware wise.

    when you load up PWI, (where it would usually patch) there's a part that says Verify.

    That fact you haven't changed anything is good, so the chance is when you were downloading a patch a small bit of information may not of made its way and thus problems with the game. If verify however doesn't work, it could still be a game issue so then try reinstalling. If neither of these work either try submitting a ticket (Make it clear you've tried verify + reinstall, techies like to always suggest this first,)

    OK, thank you very much. Verify kept giving me errors so I just deleted the whole game and am now in the process of reinstalling. Hopefully this works...

    Games tend to leave teh registry traces and whatnot.

    I did uninstall it. And also nuked the files. That's what I meant. :)
