My friend and i can't add each other...

I my friend recently downloaded the game and started playing, and he told me his characters name. He swears he's playing on archosaur, the same as me, but when i type in his name to add him, it tells me "user not found".

    Is your friend online at the time?

    Are you spelling the name right?

    Double check to make sure on the same server.
