    Kindness is rarely ever rewarded in this game. Ever. You'll see people in BH's screaming for DD's for BH/FC/TT sometimes, but whenever anything else is going on, when we're not serving the "main classes" (tank/cleric/assassin<- If you're in a PK server...a sin IS a main class.) we're treated pretty badly.

    If you're not a Wizard with -chan, you're laughed at and called a waste of time.
    If you're not a veno with a nix or a herc, you get replaced with tanking by a Psychic for MAG mobs and a BM for PHYS. You also get laughed at.
    If you're not an archer with a balanced enough build, you either get whined at for your criticals and aggro stealing, OR your low damage input. Pick one.
    If you're not a BM with the build of a Barbarian, you have absolutely no point in existing.
    If you're a Psychic.....well hell you just get hated on because you're part of the Tideborn.


    The PROBLEM is, is that Psychics get the short end of the "love" stick because we're stuck with this dooshy physical attack class. (Aka....Assassins.) Now since people already know how much they HATE assassins, they see a Tideborn and go:

    "YOU *$&#@?!ING SUCK! PLAY A REAL CLASS!"

    I've played a cleric to decent leveling. I know how this game works. I haven't seen this much hate for a race since people started figuring out how terrible it was to fight a 20k HP charmed barb and a well leveled heavy armor veno with a Nix. I've been here a while.


    The wizard taking your pots isn't being classist....or rascist, but it's not like that's not going on. Moral: never give your GOOD pots away. I keep spares from drops handy and make easy grade apothecary pots when it's needed. Sure, it takes a while, but it's worth it.
    NORMALLY, I don't even use pots....I just double spark, and time my attacks so I don't steal aggro.

    But you and I know as a Psychic you have to learn to do that anyways.

    It's been said a LOT of times that not all assassins are a-holes.....can you point me in the direction of which server they're living on? I'd love to meet them. I can only really find one in Harshlands.

    LOL. Well, most of the assassins I've squadded with are just stupid rather than a-holes, but I've got a couple of assassin friends on Dreamweaver that know how to play their class quite well. The last all-assassin squad I was in decided to go charging over into the room of the big boss in Secret Passage, get killed by the boss, and then have me and the cleric running for our lives down the hall trying not to be AOE'ed to death.
