(Newbie) Zen, Gold, Quests, Grinding what should i do?

Hey guys, i play in the Amorphous Server or what ever. Im a newbie obviously from the name. I am XurtanBlade, a BM, level 7. Of course i have tones of questions. Such as if i get ZEN and transfer it into gold and silver how much can i sell GOLD and Silver. Hmm lets say a decent amount. 1000 ZEN = 10 gold = 1000 Silver right? Now in the Auction house how much can i sell that for? How many coins is that. Also i need some prices like how much do rides or flying things cost in coins. Say a decent mount? Now since im lvl 7 i used to play another game (not mentioning) it was all about grinding! So im used to grinding, but i hear tones of people who i asked for help tell me QUESTS QUESTS QUESTS thats what this game is about! Really quests can help you lvl faster? or are they just for the rewards im not sure.

Anyways these are my questions please anwser them!

(also can someone give me a guide on upgrading items and such? Like i need to know the process in upgrading items to + something or something so i can know more about the game!)

    Zen/Gold prices differ from server to server but Sanctuary is usually 420k each gold.

    Grinding doesn't start until level 40+ where quests will only give you about 80% of your level.
    At level 30 you get your first daily quest called Crazy Stone which you can read about here. http://pwi-wiki.perfectworld.com/index.php/Crazy_Stone

    At level 40 you get another daily called Bounty Hunter which you can read about here. http://pwi-wiki.perfectworld.com/index.php/Bounty_Hunter

    Quest's also give you decent equipment to get through the level's usually, but you can also craft.
    Basically 1-60 is all quest rewards, at 60 you can start going TT (Twilight Temple) to get materials to craft TT gear, the weapons are most recognisable from the green glow.

    I recommend finding a good faction in-game to help you with more questions,etc.
