Lvl 3~4 Blacksmith Skill

So... I have lvl 3 blacksmith skill and i got the quest "Step 2" for lvl 4. Now my question is... is it better to just trash it and keep the skill at lvl 3, or to buy the 3 2*Weaps in Auction for like 1.2 mill (in Heaven's Tear) b:shocked, or use money on mats and try to craft it myself (i am currently lvl 55 if it matters) I don't have any extra MATS left... used it all up b:surrender so idk wat to do now... lvling it to lvl 4 just seems so expensive b:cry or maybe i should buy the intermediate blacksmith skill book off someone... will that even work? b:sad Thanks 4 ur answers in advance =)

    Craft it yourself, crafting is useful.

    Eh, in dreamweaver the B/S 4 weapons sell for like 800k-900k. So your getting a deal there. And based off current market prices each crafting attempt costs you like 150k-200k.

    If the weapons only cost 400k each, you should just buy them. I prefer crafting my own armor and stuff, that's why I keep crafting skills leveled.

    And if you can craft your items yourself you don't have to worry about someone else stealing your mats when you ask them to craft you something lol. :)

    Sometimes you just don't get lucky with the crafting of the 2 stars, but sometimes you do. Collecting mats also takes time. You can't expect to always find the ones you need, because there are people out there gathering mats as well.

    I would suggest that you look for cheap prices all over the place and whenever you see a mat on the ground, gather it. It won't hurt because from doing so, little by little, it adds up. Plus, the mat is right there, free on the ground, so why not take it?

    Personally, I had horrible luck with my blacksmith 4 as well. I had to buy some of the mats myself after I ran out of the ones I gathered because they kept coming out with 1 star only.

    I got all 5 2* weapons for Craftsman 6 in 10 tries. I only crafted 1 2* weapon for B/S 4 in 17 tries. It's all about luck.
