    It's either 1300 or 1700 1* orbs to make an ocean...I think you have nothing refined over 4-5 cause you would know it isn't cheaper to make.

    Edit: it is 1373 1* orbs.

    No, +4 is the highest refine I have (soon to be +5).

    Just don't have the $ to throw at the game, what with having a family 'n all to help support. :/

    Using an ocean orb is even cheaper than using an 8* orb or 9* for refines.

    Actually, for +8, it's only so if it's non-sale prices. 405 Orbs at 0.18G each gets you 72.9G.

    Yes but for +7 you are better off trying your luck with tishas and tienkang. Also if there is 1* packs sales I think 7* is cheaper too depending on gold price.

    Well, as I edited out, +8 is actually cheaper with on-sale 1 stars, but the difference is minimal. And there's the time factor, as it'd probably take quite a long time to make an 8 star orb. And with 405 orbs, there's plenty of room for mistakes due to the way the orbs are made. So yeah, I'd still use an Ocean.

    And the Tishas and Tienkangs will be even a better option with the Event Boutique. I hear you can get 50 Gold from the Celestial Tiger event. That'd get you 50 Tishas or Tienkangs.

    And of course, there's the issue of gold pricing. If you buy a lot of cheap gold, then the differences are insignificant.

    Tisha and tienkand are 10 gold for a 10 pack. Yes I got event gold last event, and thats what I used it for.

    Would be nice to have a +10 orb sale, but don't count on it. I believe the Devs over in PW-CN control the sales that go here...

    The cash shop is actually one of the few things that PWE controls. That and localization.

    People won't be buying anything going past +8 refines until PWE puts out those orbs.

    This may very well be true, but it seems like they always forward the same things that PW-CN implements. Like True Gem / Socket Packs, I don't think they were completely original. Not necessarily in the same order, but it just seems like they have to forward the same sales from PW-CN and have no control on the overall economy...

    Your original point was that PWI doesnt control what is in the cash shop. That is not true as PWI as shown that they can add and remove a number of items from the cash shop.

    PW-CN though is responsible for implementing items and the event trade-ins. PW-CN created all the packs that PWI chooses to put on sale.

    PWI also can elect not to put something up on sale:

    I was just agreeing with you, I wasn't sure about my previous post. I was just stating that there seems to be a small association because so far PWI they seem to be limited to choosing from what was already first created in PW-CN, so I'm assuming they don't self-create their own cash shop items.
