How do you hit the Pillar of Duty?

I have seen high lvl barb actually attack the pillar to gain chi i expect..

but how do you do it?

Someone mention pressing tab.. but it doesnt work.

    Well it requires you to actually be in PK mode and in PK mode you do have chance to drop items upon death....not a good incentive for the cleric to keep you alive if you're both strangers either.

    But yeah, you need to press "the button" to enter PK mode to hit it
