2x exp question

i was planning on using a training esoterica (50% more exp training exp scroll thing thats for cheapos that dun wanna use hypers) in FC during the 2x exp event

but someone told me that it doesnt stack with the exp event...

just wanted to know for sure if anyone knows if it really does or does not stack with the 2x exp event?

Training scrolls do not stack with 2x events. Hyper exp does.
