no. NO. No. and no.I was early taught to work as well as play,
My life has been one long, happy holiday;
Full of work and full of play-
I dropped the worry on the way-
And God was good to me everyday.0 -

You may obtain an egg with the name "baby" dubbed in the beginning simply referred to as Baby Pets/All Class Pets. Baby Pets are special in PW because unlike normal pets you see with venos, these pets can be used by ALL classes. These pets may be land-walking or flying pets who will follow your character around (even in instances, except flying pets). Unfortunately, these All Class Pets don't do sheeeeerz. Normal veno pets can attack and must be fed, but Baby Pets don't need any food and can't attack, or in fact, do anything other than follow your character around. On the bright side, you can name them!
The easiest way to obtain a Baby Pet is to simply buy one from a player (probably a veno) in their catshop or check the Auction House. The other more complicated way to get one is to talk to Mrs. Zoologist, click "pet trade", and then figure out how many and which kind of eggs you need to manufacture the pet that you want. Only venos are able to get the eggs required in the first place, and you'd end up looking for them in catshop/auction house anyway, so why bother doing it this way? There's also a fee to make them if you do it the long way. The more common Baby Pets cost an additional 200K to make, while the more rarer Baby Pets cost an additional 100K to make.
Once you obtain an All Class Pet egg, you must then talk to the Pet Manager and select the "Hatch Egg" option. I forgot the exact fee price she charges you for doing this, but it's not that much. Once the egg is hatched, press "p" to bring up the pets menu, and you can call/stow your pet. Feeding it is not an option as they don't need to be fed. If you want, you can drag your Baby Pet's icon to a hotkey slot, and that will serve as an easier way to call/stow your pet.
If you want to change the name of your pet, you must buy a "pet collar" from Mrs. Zoologist under "pet trade" options for I believe 10K (or 15K?). Once the collar is in your inventory, talk to Mrs. Zoologist again and choose the "rename pet" option, then choose "change". Simple as that, although if your pet is summoned at the time of name changing, it won't work.0 -
