why cant i add friends?

hi guys this is my first post..
ive been having this weird problem which is stopping me from adding people or people adding me.
what happens is, i press add friend in the friends menu and, no matter what i type it will say user not found.
also if i add them from there picture and they accept they still wont come up on my friends,
the same thing happens when people try to add me...
before you say, its nothing to do with max friends because i dont have any friends...
anyway, please tell me if you have ever had this problem or no how to fix it, thanks.

    when your typing their name to add them, caps and non caps counts. so type EXACTLY what there name is.

    i dont know for your second problem

    nah its not the spelling lol, even if i copy paste someones name it doesnt work..:(

    Can't really think of anything else but a bug.

    Sending a ticket is probably the only way you'll get this fixed.

    How many friends do you have?

    There used to be a limit of something like 80 friends -- after you hit the limit, new friends would not go on your list.

    I do not know the current limit.

    Sounds like a genuine bug. Try verifying the files first? If that doesn't help, submit a ticket.

    I wonder if it's because you try to add them just after you logged in.

    Interacting with unidentified characters (marked as P- then many numbers) will not work. I often live that in Archosaur. (It's also a pain to get people on screenshots for reporting)
    If so, go to another zone and see that names are clear, then try again.

    If it does not work, do submit a ticket.
