What good is ragged fur?

Hey all, um.... is ragged fur good for anything? I've been saving it because it looks like crafting material but I've gotten 11 stored now and don't see it as a material needed for anything I'm crafting.

    it's good for selling to NPCs for a small amount of coin. i've never found any other use for it.

    Those beginning items seem like DQ items. But they're not lol. They follow the same format as DQ20+, but eh, as far as I know, they're good for selling.
